Rapunzel also had it fairly easy, if you think about it. Both her parents are alive, and though she lived with Mother Gothel, at least she was gone more than half the time. Rapunzel had books, paints, puzzles, darts, chess, etc., Pascal, and not to mention magical hair that she could swing on and go for climbs.

AudreyFreak picked Belle:
I do think Rapunzel and Aurora were (mostly) happy, but neither of them really liked being so isolated. Rapunzel was going stircrazy and Aurora was growing up and wanted a romantic companion (but I definitely agree on Rapunzel- I think far too often people underestimate just how happy her atmosphere at home actually was).

I said in the other poll, Belle had pretty much everything and most of the other girls would have killed for the kind of freedom and privileges she was given. She was popular, educated, her dad was supportive and loving, the town thought she was interested and beautiful, she seemed financially very comfortable, and was allowed to do pretty much whatever she wanted with no consequences (which is why my vein always throbs a bit when people bash Snow or Cinderella for never leaving- unlike two enslaved girls, Maurice would likely have understood Belle's wanting to leave, if also be worried for her safety).

also Pocahontas. I'm actually very tempted to vote for her, now that I think about it. she had even more freedom than Belle. I think the only reason I won't is because we see less of her personal life than Belle's. But Poca is allowed to do whatever she wants till the settlers come, people listen to HER (a teenage girl) for advice and wisdom, her dad loves and respects her and doesn't force her into the marriage with Kocoum, etc.

Honestly, she is practically loved by everyone, and while the curse is hanging over her, she doesn't know it. And in the end, she gets Phillip - how lucky can you get?

Rapunzel had an easy life? Being stuck in a tower and constantly belittelt from someone set to undermine her self-esteem at every turn under the guise of love? There is nothing easy about it!

Aurora's life is the easiest. In the half of her movie she slept and in the other half of it she singed. Definitely the easiest life!

truth76- This poll is about the "easiest" life. AKA a princess who had very little problems or hardships growing up.

Not Rapunzel - her life sucked. Mother Gothel lowered her self-steem constantly. Ariel was an orphan. And Aurora was raised as one

Yeah, forced isolation and the traumatic revelation that your parents are alive and expect you to be queen one day is a breeze.

AdelitaI picked Merida:
No paradise but better than others. She had two living parents and always knew that.

I live the life that is similar to Belle’s and I don’t it’s that easy. It’s much better than Snow White’s but that’s not saying much. Also remake is no canon and we don’t know for sure that Belle doesn’t know or doesn’t miss her mother. IIRC, it’s entirely possible that Belle was 10 or something like this when her mother died, nothing in the movie contradicts it.
