I guess I admire her for her bravery, her respect for nature and different cultures & also because she's gorgeous when the wind blows her hair (that is pretty much during the whole movie). posted over a year ago.

Pocahontas is, when it comes down to it, a little bit bland, she more represents a certain view on life than a character. On the other hand I respect Pocahontas's choices WAY more. She's disobedient too, but I respect that she at least has more moral reasons to be. She doesn't base any choices on her own desires which I admire immensely. She understands hatred is wrong but Rapunzel decided what she wanted was more important than what she believed was right ("This would KILL her!" "Crush her soul?!"). I can't stand that. She also sounds like bad ruler material. I also dislike how they didn't make her very original. Come on, Disney. So I have to go with Poca. I like Rapunzel because she's fun, cheerful, artistic, and I can relate to being cooped up in a room and wanting to explore the world. When Pocahontas was first released, I wanted to be like Pocahontas just because I wanted to look cool with my long hair blowing perfectly in the wind. (She's the reason I always had my hair down my whole life) But I couldn't relate to Pocahontas; just that I wanted to look cool.
