I remember it took a long time for Rapunzel to officially be there, and some people were suggesting that maybe Disney had changed their minds about putting Rapunzel in the line-up. We made a pick and ended up deciding, that if Disney had made the decision to not make her official, then we would stop making picks with her in them. If we have official sources saying that Disney is going to put her in the line-up, then I see no problem with it. posted over a year ago.

	Swanpride picked No: Actually, not even Wikipedia has listed Merida as an ucoming princess yet....I need something official, then we can talk. I'm not sure how it was handled with Rapunzel, but with her it was a different matter, being Disney and from a movie which has all the marks of a typical fairy tale movie, aside from being made in 3D. Merida lacks every mark of a Disney Princess aside from being based on a legend and she is Pixar...even if there are rumors that she will join, even if there are plans for a coronation, it is still possible that Disney will change its mind. 	LatinoLollipops picked No: I am soo disappointed that Merida is going to be a Disney Princess.. I know there is nothing I can do about it but it's hard to understand why they would add her? We have Rapunzel as a 3D princess and I love her, we have Mulan as the tomboyish one.. no little girls I know like her and refer to her as the 'ugly' princess! If she isn't popular amongst kids then why should she be added.. I mean I can't imagine her being on any merchandise so it would be like having another Mulan and Pocahontas except I actually would buy stuff with them on! posted over a year ago.
