It really is an enjoyable and beautiful movie, but in my opinion the main characters, Belle and Beast, lacked appeal and personality because Belle's outcast status and Beast's imperfection were just as contrived as the cheesiness of certain princess/pricesses that are constantly being bashed for the lack of personality or development. posted over a year ago.
