What do you have against faithfully portraying heroines who don't like or are not interested in wearing conventionally feminine, sparkling gowns?? Send a message to girls everywhere what they SHOULD like and how they SHOULD want to be, why don't you??

alexon31 Again, putting her (or Merida) in sparkly dresses does not mean destroying the character. It's just the way they're portrayed in merchandise. If she wore her armour for instance, she would look out of place.

Sk8er__grl I like it a lot more than the other, they actually seem to put emotion into her face and the arms crossed thing is a nice touch. But yeah, I really don't think Disney is trying. It's like they were debating whether appealing to adults or making more money from by standing little kids was more important so they just met in the middle. Your better than that Disney!
