디즈니 프린세스 Article: Just to clear my head...

OK, I 사랑 "Tangled." Period. Maybe 당신 need some back story if 당신 really want to grasp my situation:

I support 디즈니 even when they're faultering,(although I think they've recovered already) kind of like I would a friend, that's just how I am; I feel I owe 디즈니 something since their 영화 have shown me my true calling in life: to animate, to direct, to make 영화 and to entertain the masses and challange myself with my creativity. Granted I'm only a teenager, I know what I'm going to do with my life because of disney.

Anyway, I am greatly dissapointed with the reviews "Tangled" is getting, especially when they compare it to Disney's greatest classics! Don't they realize that 디즈니 is coming out of a creative, technological block right now? They compare "Tangled" to "Snow White" and say that the songs in 라푼젤 are childish and hard to get through (implied if you're an adult and have no wimsy; if you're just taking your five 년 old to the movie they'd been begging to see since they saw the first trailer; if you're the kind of adult that thinks all animated 영화 are kid movies, which they're not!--that reminds me, there is a difference between "kid" 영화 and "family" movies. Kid 영화 are kind of like little kid shows, they use small words and if its a musical, well...it kind of ends up like "The 백조 Princess," not that I'm 백조 Princess bashing, I 사랑 that movie because I grew up with it. Family 영화 have noticble layers to them and actually have meaning, like Tangled!)

Sorry, I got off topic. In all honesty, the songs in Snow White are comparitively just as "childish" as the one's in Tangled. I mean, 라푼젤 is 더 많이 modern and was made in a modern society where no "adult" takes 뮤지컬 seriously. Think about it, I've been thinking about it constantly! Sorry if I sound really peeved, I just need some back up here, 또는 at least someone to tell me I'm wrong 또는 something!

P.S., yes, I understand that 당신 may be thinking that I'm being biased, but I can assure 당신 I'm not. I am also a very big Dreamworks 팬 and am currently obsessed with their new movie "Megamind." I'm also a 픽사 fan, and there is defintitly a differences between 디즈니 and Pixar! I'm not usually disturbed 의해 reviews for their 영화 because no one seems to be bashing them like they bash Disney.

boolander25 I totally get where you're getting at. You can't compare things that just don't fit in the same category. And I'm right there with you on Megamind. That movie rocked.

firegirl1515 I agree 100% (as a DisneyManiac who at one point believed all non-Disney movies were bad ripoffs, I understand about always supporting Disney). Luckily, it has 87% on rottentomatoes, and 92% out of the top critics. Plus, everyone who badmouthed it got knocked down by comments saying that their reviews only looked at one aspect or never mentioned a particular thing that was disliked. Seriously, I honestly think that anyone who says it's an [i]awful[/i] movie is totally out of line- you at least need to commend it on the animation of the hair (which was nearly impossible). Either way, yay for Tangled!

Gleek4ever i thought that Tangled was getting really good reviews! and everyone i've talked to has said that they love it! my main problem is people judging tanlged before they even really understand what it is. like my anatomy post a few days ago, i said that i told some girls in my anatomy class that Tangled was amazing and they said "but it's a cartoon!" grr... that just really annoys me when you judge before you even understand something

percyandpotter OMG I'M OBSESSED WITH MEGAMIND TOO!! well, i was before Tangled came out, but still.

LisaForde I agree with ya Disney is doing a lot of Rip Offs now and I never seen Tangled to know what its about but hopefully it will be an instant classic.

MariposaPhoenix Honestly, I thought Tangled was getting great reviews...I guess not. It is infact an excellent movie & if Disney kept making movies just like it I would be so happy. Maybe not 3D but somewhere along the lines.
