Hey, y'all! Welcome to my first 기사 of this series! I'll be talking about each detail from both a tradionally animated film AND a live-action one. Keep in mind, while I'm happy to give my input on a majority of these films, some I'm going to have to mentally prepare for in the meantime. But let's not go further into that. Let's get on with the show.
Today's 기사 will be about both versions of Aladdin.
The characters:
The character development for each character is well done. I'm not going to lie about that quality, but I'd like to point out afew things about the flaws.
Aladdin:
First off, the original 알라딘 is at a crossroads when Sultan wants to make him a new Sultan, while the live-action 알라딘 loses sight of who he is, but in a VERY slight way. (The line "Aladdin's gone. Prince Ali is here to stay." should ring a 벨 if 당신 don't follow.) He loses sight of himself in that slight manner, but I 사랑 how he found that part of himself again as the story progressed. He starts to pick up the pieces after being captured, like the original 알라딘 does. One thing I found precious about the live-action 알라딘 is how he was struggling to find ways to talk to 재스민 속, 재 스민 after discovering she was the princess. That was TOO cute NOT to point out!
Jasmine:
Don't even get me started on Jasmine, especially the original one! Even though her 심장 is in a good place at times, the live-action one kind of makes her look slightly self centered. That's how big the live-action Jasmine's 심장 is! The live-action 재스민 속, 재 스민 actually KNOWS what to do when it's HER time to rule Agrabah. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to talk bad about the original Jasmine, but the live-action 재스민 속, 재 스민 won me over in a record of minutes. 초 even. I WILL say THIS, though, I have to appreciate them keeping some of the original Jasmine's qualities and passing them down to the live-action one. While the original 재스민 속, 재 스민 DOES have some good qualities, she DOES tend to think a bit 더 많이 about other stuff, while the live-action 재스민 속, 재 스민 thinks about the people of her country and not so much about herself. I liked what they did there.
Genie:
I'm clearly at a loss for words as I type this. No one can slay a role 더 많이 than Robin Williams. Hell, no one is better than Robin Williams! I think I speak for all of us in this community when I say the original Genie holds a special place in our hearts. Now, when I heard the live-action Genie was going to be played 의해 Will Smith, I couldn't help but think "He is going to suck as such an iconic character, especially an iconic character who was once played 의해 a legend!", but, I was impressed with what I saw. He brought much 더 많이 to the 표, 테이블 than I expected, but still, the live-action Genie doesn't hold a damn candle to the original Genie. I know there are going to be some of 당신 who liked the live-action Genie, and I respect but no one can replace the legend who voiced the original Genie. RIP Robin Williams.
Jafar:
The live-action Jafar is ALOT DIFFERENT from the original one! The original Jafar was sorta creepy towards 재스민 속, 재 스민 if 당신 ask me. The way he was when it came to him trying to marry her was just...Jacked. At least the live-action Jafar had enough audacity to leave her alone! What I like about the live-action Jafar is he was 더 많이 power hungry and 더 많이 focused on gaining the 왕좌, 왕위 for himself. Upon looks, the live-action Jafar looks like any other regular guy, and the original Jafar looks ominous. I get it, though, because a majority of villains are gonna look that way, especially iconic ones.
The Sultan:
There's no 질문 that the original Sultan is lovable, but it's annoying how both Sultans kept 재스민 속, 재 스민 all sheltered from the outside world. Though, what I 사랑 about the live-action Sultan is he doesn't want to lose Jasmine. Another thing I 사랑 about him is he's compassionate. For example, he asks 알라딘 how he can think him after defeating Jafar, and reassures him saying everyone makes mistakes after he apologizes for all the wrong he's done. I'm not saying the original Sultan isn't compassionate, believe me, I think he's just as compassionate, but with the live-action Sultan, it starts to become 더 많이 evident at the end.
Abu, Carpet, and Iago:
I was surprised when I saw the live-action Iago had very little lines, if any lines at all. The original Iago is just so talkative it's almost obnoxious. I get it, though, because it's supposed to be comic relief. The live-action Iago staying silent was still surprising to say the least.
Both Abu's were about the same for me, but unlike the original Abu, the live-action Abu is alot less greedy. The original Abu was so greedy, he was almost ugly about it. Another thing I like the live-action Abu is he's taught a lesson 의해 알라딘 about where there's a time and place to steal, and a time and place not to steal. I only have a minor complaint about him. I wish they had him stay an 코끼리 alittle longer, like they did with the original Abu when 알라딘 was pretending to be a prince. Both Abu's are still good, though.
I have to say, both Carpets are flawless. I can't say anything bad about either of them. Yes, I hated not seeing the live-action Carpet pull Abu's bluff in the cave, like the original Carpet did, but that doesn't matter to me as much. Another thing I liked about the live-action Carpet is he gets ressurected 의해 Genie after being cut. I was wowed 의해 how similar he and the original Carpet are. They're both legendary in in loads of ways.
The music:
Oh my God, I was blown away with how close the songs were to the original versions! I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of Will Smith doing Friend Like Me, but even he stayed true to the original version, even if he did rap just alittle during the performance. The newest song, Speechless, is BEAUTIFUL! I've never related to such a powerful number in my life! Talk about a confidence booster! I also like how there was a reprise of One Jump Ahead. (Forgive me, but, I've been calling it the "street rat" song.) I thought that was a neat touch. My only complaint is during a couple of the musical numbers, 알라딘 was pitchy during one of his, and Genie was a bit off key during Arabian Nights, but I liked how they managed to pick themselves back up in the end.
The setting:
Small compliant, but, during the live-action version of A Whole New World, I wish they included the parts where they go all around the world, like they did with the original version, but I get it, because the whole thing would've been expensive. I liked the live-action setting, though. I thought it was similar to the original one.
The story:
Okay, I'm not going to lie, the original Aladdin's story is gold, but the live-action one blew me away! When we get to see the live-action tiger head, I almost spat out my water when he spoke. He sounded JUST LIKE the original one! Another thing I'd like to add is that I liked how they wrote in the live-action Genie falling in 사랑 with Jasmine's friend. They did good with that twist. Speaking off, the opening to the live-action movie was different, to say the least, but creative. I also liked how they included a wedding between the live-action 알라딘 and Jasmine. It made me think of the third tradionally animated movie.
Oh, let's not forget about the party scene! As I mentioned earlier in this article, I thought it was adorable how the live-action 알라딘 was trying to find the confidence to try and talk to 재스민 속, 재 스민 upon finding out she was the princess.
Plus, we finally know what happened to Jasmine's mother in the live-action adaptation. You're probably not surprised I'm mentioning this, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they explored 더 많이 into that in the future. I'm sure there already fanfics of that theory out there, and I respect people's creativity, but I think that's worth exploring more. Incidentally, knowing the live-action Sultan is extremely protective of 재스민 속, 재 스민 over this is rather understandable. 당신 can't help but show some sympathy. All in all, I'd like to see where the storyline goes with this in the future. It'd be interesting to see what caused it all.
사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 review:
The original: 10/10
The live-action: 10/10
I have to admit, I had my doubts about the live-action movie, but I was VERY impressed in the end.
That's it for this article. My 다음 one with be on both versions of Beauty And The Beast. Keep in mind, I might not be able to include all the characters in that one, but I'll try my best to at least give them a mention.
Thanks for reading! Much love, y'all! <3

........................................................................................
Snow White has never been pretty to me. Princesses like Elsa, Anna, Aurora and Belle have always been beautiful to me. Snow White was the ugliest to me, the ugliest. Even uglier than princesses like Merida, Mulan, and Kida. I don't understand how they call Snow White "the fairest of all people" in the movie.
Things that make Snow White ugly:
Snow White's neck looks combined with her head.
The shape of Snow White's hair is so ugly, it's like a cotton 캔디 that doesn't look realistic at all.
Snow White's nose is sometimes not visible
These princess eyes are scary and the pupils don't fit in her eyes.
His eyebrows are thin
_____________________________________________________
Oh my god, she's so ugly except for her crimson lips and rosy cheeks! In the movie, either the mirror was broken 또는 the movie was. Snow White is so ugly! Duh should make it to the list of the ugliest in the world!

She's gentle, kind, and clumsy and is 메리다와 마법의 숲 enough to stand up to Clayton even when he has a gun -BB2010
I 사랑 how awkward yet interesting she is; I admire her bravery and empathy, and I like how she has a talent for drawing and curiosity for the jungle life. I 사랑 her relationship with Tarzan, one of my 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 couples; her 디자인 is really pretty as well -WhiteLagoon13
Everything! She is smart, she is dedicated to her work, but I also 사랑 that her "damsel" moments are the result of her being in an unfamiliar situation, and that she learns to adjust to her new environment 의해 the end of the movie. -Swanpride
