Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired 의해 its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous 재스민 속, 재 스민 wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) 재스민 속, 재 스민 was originally supposed to be a bit 더 많이 active. At one point, she was supposed to confront the Sultan and angrily declare "We have to talk", but the animators nixed it because it would have meant designing an entirely new room for that talk so were forced to fall back on showing 재스민 속, 재 스민 crying instead (which made them cringe). Also, when 재스민 속, 재 스민 was trapped in the hourglass, she was supposed to use the jewel in her 투구 to cut herself free, but this was changed to a last-minute rescue 의해 Aladdin. 재스민 속, 재 스민 was also going to be a spoiled brat who wanted to marry the richest of all the princes, only becoming a sweet girl who learns humility after falling in 사랑 with Aladdin. A song was even written for the spoiled version of Jasmine, titled "Call Me a Princess". The production team dropped this personality because they didn't think audiences would like her very much.

3) 알라딘 was originally fully aware that 재스민 속, 재 스민 was the princess when he first met her. It was changed because the production team believed that it implied 알라딘 fell in 사랑 with her because of her money and power, not because he genuinely cared about her.


Goofs

1) During "Whole New World", we can see 알라딘 and 재스민 속, 재 스민 descending down on the magic carpet, and we can hear 재스민 속, 재 스민 singing, "A whole new world," but her mouth is not moving. This is right after she sings "Through an endless diamond sky..."

2) When 재스민 속, 재 스민 and her father are talking about marriage in the garden, her outfit changes from gray to turquoise two different times.

3) The 꽃 in Jasmine's hair is on the wrong side when reflected in the stream.

4) After 알라딘 stops the merchant from chopping off Jasmine's hand, he gives the sword to Jasmine, who hides it behind her back. In the very 다음 scene she no longer has the sword, and there is no sign of it in later shots.

5) When 재스민 속, 재 스민 is pretending to be under the Genie's spell towards the end of the movie, she gets up and puts the crown Jafar made on her head. Later when Jafar sees 알라딘 reflected in the crown he knocks her to the ground, when she hits the ground and looks up, the crown is not on the floor around as it mat have fallen off unnoticed.

6) During "A Whole New World" scene, when 재스민 속, 재 스민 pets the horse, the 꽃 on her head seems to disappear. Not until when they are flying over the water does the 꽃 return.

7) While Jafar has 재스민 속, 재 스민 enchained, she wears a snake bracelet on her right arm. After 재스민 속, 재 스민 attempts to steal Jafar's staff, Jafar knocks her to the ground, and the bracelet can briefly be seen on her left arm. In following scenes it returns to her right arm.

8) While pole vaulting across rooftops with Aladdin, Jasmine's hair falls free from her wrap, and the 덮개, 랩 is around her shoulders. Upon landing her hair is neatly tucked under the 덮개, 랩 around her head.

9) When 재스민 속, 재 스민 climbs the 벽 of the palace to run away as a beggar, Rajah helps her up and we see her 바지의, 바지 leg. But a close-up of her foot shows her shoe and bare leg.

10) When 재스민 속, 재 스민 is leaving the palace (to run away as a beggar) 당신 can hear her say goodbye but her lips do not move.


Plot Hole

1) After 재스민 속, 재 스민 finds out that Prince Ali is the boy from the market, she is angry with him for lying to her and demands that he tell her the truth. She doesn't say anything about him being arrested and Jafar telling her that he had the boy beheaded. One would think that would be the first thing she would have asked him about.
