This is my ranking of the princess films. These are my personal opinions. It is okay if 당신 don't agree with my list but please no rude comments.
12. Brave
I hate this movie. I haven't seen it in 3 years and I don't want to see it again. I think 디즈니 as dimitri put it, was trying to hard to please radical feminists that hate 디즈니 princesses. Merida is so rude bratty and obnoxious I just want to 펀치 her in the face. Moving on.
11. Frozen
Another 디즈니 movie I can't stand. Like with Brave, I think 디즈니 was trying to hard to be progressive. The characters are extremely annoying and the soundtrack is very overrated. I hated how it mocked the 사랑 at 1st sight that was in other 디즈니 movies. Yes I know 사랑 at 1st sight isn't real but most people are smart enough to know 당신 don't marry a person 당신 just met. Their fairytales. It is common for the prince & princess to fall in 사랑 at 1st sight. 겨울왕국 is not the 1st movie to teach 당신 that 당신 don't need a man to save you. Like with 메리다와 마법의 숲 I think 겨울왕국 was made for people who hate 디즈니 movies.
10. The Princess & the Frog
As 당신 can probably tell the modern princess 영화 (except for Tangled) are my least 가장 좋아하는 princess movies. Maybe it is because I didn't grew up with these movies. I haven't seen this movie in 5 years but I didn't like it. I don't like the soundtrack, the characters, & I think this film is a borefest.
9. Cinderella
This film bores me to tears. While I 사랑 신데렐라 as a character, I don't care for the other characters. The mice are annoying. I especially hate it when the mice start singing. I don't care for most of the songs in this film. For the 1st 45 분 당신 are watching mice being chased 의해 a cat. This movie doesn't feel like a fairytale, it feels like a Tom & Jerry cartoon. Lady Tremaine, in my opinion, is a lame villain. I personally feel this film is too childish. I'm sorry if I offended 팬 of this film, this is just my personal opinion.
8. Pocahontas
Another film that bores me. I haven't watched this film in years but when the last time I watched it, I ended up turning it off because I got so bored. The characters are so dull. This films lack the 디즈니 magic. I think this film is too preachy & while the soundtrack is great I'm not to fond of the lyrics. Pocahontas is not a bad character but she is not that interesting. Her speaking voice is so monotone. I don't like that this film is historically inaccurate because I like history.
7. Mulan
I feel bad for putting this film this low but it is not my cup of tea. It is not a bad movie 의해 any means but it lacks the 디즈니 magic. It is not romantic enough. I'm not into action movies, I'm 더 많이 into romance movies. Like with 메리다와 마법의 숲 & Frozen, I think the feminism is a bit overdone. I don't like the songs that much. I don't mean to offend 팬 of this film.
6. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
I wish this film was higher in my list but I was never wild about this film. I do respect it thought because it is the oldest 디즈니 full length animated film and without this film 디즈니 wouldn't be where they are. This movie is just not my taste. I don't like the songs & the dwarfs are annoying. I do like the Evil 퀸 though. It is the 1st animated 디즈니 movie as I mentioned earlier so it does deserve some credit.
5. Aladdin
I haven't seen this film in years. I didn't watch 알라딘 a lot as a kid but when the last time I watched it I liked it. I have to be in a certain mood to watch this film though. I think this film can be a little too silly at times but it is still a good movie. When it comes out of the vault, I will have an updated opinion on Aladdin.
4. Sleeping Beauty
This movie is so underrated! Many people think this film is boring but I don't think it is boring at all. While Aurora & Phillip may not be the most interesting characters (I 사랑 them anyway) the 요정 make up for it. Maleficent in my opinion is Disney's best villain. Sleeping Beauty has the best score of all 디즈니 영화 probably because the score is from Tchaikovsky. The 애니메이션 in this film is beautiful!
3. Tangled
When I saw this movie at 1st, I wasn't crazy about it but after rewatching it, I fell in 사랑 with this film. I think this is hands down the best modern 디즈니 princess film. Unlike Frozen, this film actually made my laugh. Pascal and Maximus are hilarious. Flynn Rider is awesome. Rapunzel is charismatic. I wish this film got the attention that 겨울왕국 got because in my opinion it is much better than Frozen.
2. Beauty & the Beast
I loved this film since I was a child! The soundtrack is in my opinion Disney's best soundtrack. I can relate to Belle because I 사랑 읽기 and I have a hard time making friends. The Beast was the 1st prince from 디즈니 to have development. He might be my 가장 좋아하는 prince (I haven't ranked the princes yet). Each time I watch this film it gets better and better!
1. The Little Mermaid
Not only is this my 가장 좋아하는 princess film but it is my 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 film since I was a child! It was the 1st 디즈니 movie I watched so this film is special to me. I can't even describe how much I 사랑 this movie! I 사랑 the songs. Part of Your World is my all time 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 song. I even sing it in the 샤워 occasionally. Ariel is my all time 가장 좋아하는 princess! I 사랑 how adventurous & enthusiastic she is. I also like how she is not afraid to defy her father and she doesn't let anyone stop her from doing what she wants to do. The only thing I don't like about this film is 가자미, 넙치 & Scuttle, I think their annoying but I 사랑 this film otherwise!
