As usual, I have a hard time making lists so don't pay too much attention to the rankings and just read what I have to say.

12. Brave
If you've known me over a 년 ago, you'd know that I'm not much of a 픽사 fan. Yes, I know I'm an awful person for discriminating between 애니메이션 studios and this is 픽사 we're talking about. So yeah, I'm guessing this is why I can't get into 메리다와 마법의 숲 no matter how hard I try, considering it's also one, if not, my least 가장 좋아하는 픽사 movie.

11. The Princess and the Frog
I've had issues with Tiana in the past because of her inconsistent morals that gets shoved into other people's face. Although now, I no longer hold it against her and just put her movie at fault. Not to mention the frog scenes drag on, the score is uninspiring, etc. etc. etc. So yeah while I have a lot of problems with this movie, it's still decent IMHO, just not on par with other DP movies.

10. Cinderella
Like most of you, I go through re-watching 디즈니 영화 several times but I just can't seem to do that with 신데렐라 one 더 많이 time because not much excitement is present in this movie. Though it's still a timeless classic that makes 당신 root for the main character the whole way through.

9. Sleeping Beauty
With Tchaikovsky Waltz and detailed traditional animation, Sleeping Beauty is in fact an artistic masterpiece. So if 당신 don't show some sort of appreciation for this movie, it automatically means 당신 have unrefined taste. Well, here I am putting it low on my list, I just have issues with most of the characters and the slow pacing of this movie.

8. Pocahontas
I can understand why Pocahontas was blamed for being the cause of its following 디즈니 movies' lack of success. And I'm not only talking about the historical inaccuracies, which are, a little insulting when 당신 think about it. This movie is often described as dull and irrational and I can see where people are coming from. Despite ''all the flaws''... the killer soundtrack, moving scenes and awesome characters like Wiggins make this movie a winner in my book.

7. Beauty and the Beast
While I 100% see why people started taking animated 영화 as 더 많이 than just kids' stuff after watching Beauty and the Beast, I don't believe it is 더 많이 of a perfect movie than some of the other DP movies. I'm sorry, I really like this movie but I'm not about to put it on a pedestal. What I 사랑 most is how it has underlying messages under the clear good moral of this story.

6. Tangled
I adore the unique storytelling, the allegories and the theme of Tangled. It might not be one of my favorites, maybe because it started an Era I'm not crazy about (safe profitable CGI movies). But it does generally have good songs, characters and is just 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 a really smart movie where everything is well-thought-out about.

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Walt was trying to see how well he could animate with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs so this movie is mostly filler. But 당신 know what? All of the scenes are well done and it's a part of its charm. Sometimes I gotta appreciate simplicity.

4. Frozen
This may 또는 may not be true about you, but 겨울왕국 hype seems to affect most people, either good 또는 bad. I don't believe it deserves the praise for being anything groundbreaking but I do enjoy watching this movie countless times and 노래 along to the songs with my peers. Yeah yeah, we could go on on how this isn't a plot hole-free movie but regardless, it's a movie that makes me happy.

3. Aladdin
알라딘 was one of my 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 영화 when I was younger so nostalgia does play a part. It's very much a product of its time but that's just the thing, the 90s were the best. Arabian Nights is a mysterious intro that starts making me feel excited to watch the movie and the rest of the film keeps me entertained non-stop.

2. The Little Mermaid
The Little Mermaid gets to the feels, I don't know how the main titles and the happy ending can make me shed a tear, that doesn't even make any sense. It has loving characters that are a lot 더 많이 layered than given credit for. This movie just shows 당신 whatever your eyes want to see, gives 당신 whatever your emotions want to feel and just has every aspect of 디즈니 magic in it.

1. Mulan
뮬란 is the 디즈니 movie that gets me the most emotionally involved. It just seems to have the whole package, it's action-packed and entertaining. The timeless humor, admirable characters and significant scenes that can tug at my heartstrings make this my 가장 좋아하는 DP movie.

Welcome to the 2nd Princess Personality article! Like the 이전 기사 about Belle's personality, this one about Snow White is still using the MBTI assessment.

SNOW WHITE IS...

1. Extraverted link

Extraverts often:
Have high energy
Talk 더 많이 than listen
Think out loud
Act, then think
Like to be around people a lot
Prefer a public role
Can sometimes be easily distracted
Prefer to do lots of things at once
Are outgoing & enthusiastic

Although Snow White was without human companion under her stepmother's wicked rule, she had plenty of animal friends. In fact, Snow White was always surrounded...

 Different faces, different personalities
Different faces, different personalities
We all 사랑 디즈니 princesses, don’t we? So Seasons are also like them, they are really different from each other and each one of them at least has a good trait. I recently developed an interest of 글쓰기 기사 on 디즈니 princess symbolism. Thanks to the people who viewed my 기사 recently and loved them! Hope 당신 all enjoy!
Snow white – Spring
Yes! For me the princesses in spring category are kind, resourceful, pure, obedient, self-reserved, matured and somewhat innocent. I like the Spring people. Traits 또는 qualities tell she’s a spring person. She always likes to keep the room...

A fair number of 디즈니 Princess DVDs were released in the early 2000's, and the series I'm most familiar with is the Princess Party line. To my knowledge, there were just two installments, both of which I apparently still own! These DVDs feature 디즈니 Princess-related games, activities, and stories with the goal of helping to create a memorable DP-themed party for young girls. I first rented this disk from Blockbuster about a decade 이전 just to check out the games, so I have a bit of nostalgia for it. But how well does the content on the DVD hold up? Let's take a look!

There are...

Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Look down there! It's a song analysis!
Greetings! I'm ApplesauceDoctr, and today I present my fourth song analysis. This time though (somewhat similar to my "Reflection" analysis), I'll be comparing two songs -- "So This is Love" and "Dancing on a Cloud," both of which come from Disney's Cinderella. "Dancing on a Cloud," the deleted song, was written with the intent of doing what "So This is Love" later did -- to show how 신데렐라 and the prince fell in 사랑 with each other at the ball. While the two seem similar at first, further examination shows that the two are a bit different, and it gives a better understanding of why "Dancing...

Well, it's time for another 기사 here in Scarletland! I admit, I had this need for wanting to make another 기사 again, but I didn't know of what subject to make of. Then browsing around the Internet, the inspiration struck me: I could write about 디즈니 villains! Genius! Because that subject isn't trite and overdone at all! (/sarcasm)

Jokes aside, I've been these last days thinking and analyzing the 디즈니 villains 더 많이 than usual (that is; I almost never think about them, so this was really unusual for me). Villains are essential for many of these movies, because if it weren't for them...

Saw an old 질문 게시됨 from a 년 이전 that inspired me to write this. The 질문 was about which 디즈니 Princesses might make best friends, in pairs, based on commonalities. As I started to think about it, I found all of the commonalities to be quite interesting. So I decided to post my findings of commonalities (not go for the BFF route) just because I found it interesting what the princesses had so much in common. Hope 당신 guys do too:

Snow & Aurora:
Both were royal but fled to the forest to escape their villains. Both were put under a sleeping spell. Both like to dance and initiate...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this 기사 ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in 인기 culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...
