Pocahontas briefly left the room and got Merida a warm rag with a side of Grandmother Willow's special bark. "It'll help with the pain and intensity." she said about the bark. She sprinkled the bark on Merida's forehead and put the rag on after. She suddenly looked down at the floor. "What is it?" Merida asked. "Me and John are Ping's godparents." Pocahontas confessed. "You are, are you?" Merida replied.
Pocahontas was actually a bit surprised she didn't lash out. "Please don't be angry." she said. "I'm not angry." Merida replied. "It's just that...I need to stop bein' so sensitive." she confessed. Pocahontas put a hand on her shoulder. "Merida, we're all sensitive every now and then." she said. "But I'M sensitive all the time." Merida butted in.
"We just have to learn to corner our sensitivity." Pocahontas stated. Merida looked up alittle, being careful to not accidentally have the rag drop. "We look at what bothers us the most and we corner it." Pocahontas directed. Merida was mind-blown. It wasn't Pocahontas keeping secrets from her anymore. It was the sensitivity itself with the anger that came with it. Merida instantly realized that was the thing that bothered her, and that she had to do something about it once and for all.
