If 당신 look at this list, 당신 might notice that most of those songs and scores are set to montages. They are played when either a longer timespan passes by, 또는 when the movie tries to convey some sort of development 또는 message. This time around, 알라딘 and 신데렐라 are not included, there was no song 또는 score which fit the criteria.

8. Princess and the Frog: Yeah, I think this will surprise no one. I said it before, but here the main problem I have with “Dig a little deeper”: The text makes no sense. It’s an example of what happens, when someone uses figurative language without really thinking about the figure of speech chosen. “Dig a little deeper” is not the most creative allegory, but on its own it works. “Blue Skies and sunshine” is a great contrast to Dr. Facilier’s magic, which is based on shadows. But combine those together and 당신 get the oddest picture imaginable – dig a little deeper and you’ll find blue skies and sunshine? I wasn’t aware that I have to dig to the other side of the earth.
Another thing I really dislike about this is the upfront message. Mama Odie is 더 많이 또는 less telling Tiana and Naveen what they should do next, instead of allowing them to come to their own conclusions. Nothing against giving them a hint, but this text is 더 많이 또는 less a manual to a happy ending (how Tiana could misunderstand the song at all is beyond me). The important part are the rules of the curse – but it would have been really nice to get those closer to the start of the movie, not when it’s nearly over. (Truthfully, I would have preferred to watch Tiana and Naveen trying to reach Lottie a whole 일 instead of wandering aimlessly around in the swamp.)
And the 음악 – I suppose if I heard the piece a couple of times, I might grow to like it, but I don’t really want to. It doesn’t engage me at all.

Fanpop says: This got voted as the worst, although it has at least one fan. “Dig a little deeper is awesome” (ajotma). There is also some definite dislike for it, which seems to be similar to the reaction Snow White sometimes gets. “I dislike Mama Odie and her song even more” (ArielandEric).

7. The Little Mermaid: “Tour of the Kingdom” is a nice, catchy melody, which underlines the 일 Eric and Ariel spend together really well. But it’s also what we call in German “Plätschermusik” – 음악 which is played in the background to lull in our senses. As much as I 사랑 this one, I think that the other pieces on this list do a better job in elevating the scene they are played on.

Fanpop says: This is one of those middle songs, which are neither overly liked nor overly disliked. Some votes in each category, one 또는 two mentions as runner-up.

6. Snow White: I admit I cut the movie a little bit slack here. If it was done today, Snow White wouldn’t sing “With a Smile and a Song” sitting down while the 동물 are hopping around her, she would walk through the forest towards her destination. Since she does just sit down, it boils down to her saying “I’ll get though this” in a very lengthy manner, something which would pull this song towards the very bottom of the list, if I didn’t know that the arrangement is related to the problems with human animation. If 당신 pay attention to the movie, you'll notice this couple of times: Snow White is either sitting down, 또는 fading into the background, while the 동물 또는 the dwarves take over the scene.
A neat little trick, overall, but for this list, I might have put Snow White at the very bottom nevertheless, if not for the other song “Whistle While 당신 Work”. It works perfectly to fill the time between Snow White arriving at the cottage and the dwarves coming home. While cleaning is not a really exciting theme for a song, this is one of the tunes which just stuck in your mind. From all the songs in “Snow White and the seven dwarves”, this is the most modern one – 또는 perhaps, it’s the one which has the most drive to it.

Fanpop says: “With a smile and a song” got voted third worst, and a lot of dislike was expressed for both songs, because, what a surprise, Snow White sings them. I wish I would at least once get a 코멘트 about the songs and not about the character 또는 her voice.

5. Beauty and the Beast: I originally considered “Something There” as 사랑 song, and it is one in a sense, but even 더 많이 it’s the 설명 of Belle and the Beast getting to know each other. It’s a good song, which describes the feelings of Belle and the Beast very well, a song I really love, but taking a good look at it, it's mostly the scene which makes the song special. It has the nice, thoughtful feel to it, though.

Fanpop says: Third best, so I went a little bit against 인기 opinion. “I 사랑 the way we see them falling in love, it is a so romantic song.” (Saphir).

4. Sleeping Beauty: I suspect most of the people had no idea what score I meant when I put “A Fairy Tale Come True” up for vote. To clarify: The score gets played twice in the movie, the 초 time shortly after Prince Phillip has defeated Maleficent, when he goes up the tower to 키스 Aurora. But the first time is the reason I put it on this list: It’s when Maleficent shows Phillip the future she has planned for him in her crystal ball. What makes the scene so griping for me is the fact that she isn’t gloating (well, she is, but in a very unusual manner), she is telling him a story – her voice would fit a fairy tale audio play, the 음악 has this romantic feel to it, but we see this image of Philip as an old, broken man in a truly horrifying future. I like the synchronism in using the same 음악 for the possible happy ending for the villain and the real happy ending.

Fanpop: 초 worst, which isn’t really surprising, considering that nobody seemed to have an idea what score I was talking about. There is a difference between not remembering a score played in a certain scene, and not knowing a score because 당신 happen to not know its name. I suspect that the latter was the real problem here. At least nobody commented on the score itself.

3. Tangled: The “Kingdom’s Dance” might be the best piece of 음악 in Tangled. Just hearing the 음악 I automatically want to dance, but that’s not what makes the score special. It’s the way the 음악 gets faster and faster, crescents, up to the point when Rapunzel and Eugene are meeting each other, just to stop abruptly. That’s so well done.

Fanpop says: Fourth place, but it is a typical runner-up song and got mentioned a couple of times. “This one and the Kingdoms Dance from Tangled.I just the 음악 to it,it makes 당신 want to dance! I know when I was at 디즈니 World Rapunzel and Flynn showed me how to do the kingdom dance,it was fun!” (PociandSmith)

2. Mulan: I really shouldn’t enjoy “Make a man out of you” that much. Take it out of context and it’s a celebration of every male stereotype possible. The military tune, being a girl used like an insult – a band which played this would be labeled as sexist immediately. But I do, because the song doesn’t shy away from playing with those stereotypes (while being a good solution to shorten the time 뮬란 spends in training, without skipping her development).
And the other song, “Honor to us all” is 더 많이 또는 less the mirror to it, celebrating the female stereotypes. It’s less epic than “Make a man out of you”, but a good song nevertheless, and it works perfectly to show the society 뮬란 has to live in.

Fanpop says: “Honor to us all” is one of those middle songs. “Make a man out of you” on the other hand made 초 place, with a lot of runner-up mentions. “Love it. I sing is all the time” (ellie53)

1. Pocahontas: If I would just follow my personal taste, I would put “Colors of the Wind” lower, simply because I don’t like it when someone 또는 something is preaching to me. The whole message of the song is so upfront, although it at least uses some nice metaphors to convey it. But I can’t argue with a melody that powerful, an arrangement that well done. This is not just a song; it’s THAT song, the one the whole movie is build around. Add the animation, and there is really no contestant for it – at least not in this category.

Fanpop says: Not unexpected, the clear winner.
Okay so this is really late and I'm putting it up kinda late in the night, on Thanksgiving, no less. But I finally rewatched 메리다와 마법의 숲 tonight! I got a subscription to Disney+ at the start of this 월 and I finally set up my account on my mom's tv (if I'm going to leech off her Netflix and Hulu, she can at least be able to use my Disney+) and my niece put on Brave, one of her 가장 좋아하는 movies, and we all sat down and watched it together :)

Today's rewatch: Brave

Thank 당신 to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an 기사 on why we adore her:

Belle is my 가장 좋아하는 princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly 사랑 about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she...

While this is the 초 기사 I wrote about this list, this is the third time I did this countdown, the first one being a few years ago. Compared to last year's results, while some of the same stuff is on the list there's different placements and new stuff so let's check out how different this is!

10. The village, the rest of the army, and Shang’s father dead
Original placement: 5

While this one did have some users saying that while it was shocking, the moment we see the little doll Shan-yu had earlier is when they started to feel sad about this scene. This was a very sad scene once 당신 get...

The one thing missing in Snow White and the seven dwarfs is any communication between Snow White and the Evil 퀸 . Unlike in Disney's 신데렐라 and 라푼젤 all of whom are step mum verses step daughter. Two different people Snow White kind, happy and a giving person, whilst the 퀸 is a harsh, mean and only cares for herself.

In Mirror Mirror there is a brilliant showing of this in one of the first scenes.

So Snow White is 18 today. She is sad, lonely and bored in her bedroom, a bird pops in and so Snow White feeds it, then she hears a fanfare coming from downstairs. Snow gets excited...

This is a movie I've been looking 앞으로 to rewatching for a while :) I 사랑 the 디즈니 Princess 영화 (except maybe Brave, still need to watch that again) but The Little Mermaid brings back so much nostalgia for me. This movie isn't number 1 on my 가장 좋아하는 DP movie list but it's still one of my all-time 가장 좋아하는 movies.

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
So, like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this movie scared me when I was little because of how scary some of the 애니메이션 was. When this movie was released on dvd for the first time in 2002 또는 2003, I didn't want to watch it because I thought I was still going to be scared of it. But then my stepmom...

 Hello Maleficent.
Hello Maleficent.
Hi guys, an idea had struck me on 글쓰기 this article. It is a comparison between Wicked and Maleficent, are 당신 ready?

The Story

Although the film is like Wicked, but Maleficent is a darker and 고딕 version of Wicked. Mainly because of how the film is portrayed.
Whereas Wicked is 더 많이 lighter despite that it has some darker approach at some point of the film, so I would not label it as Gothic.

The Characters

Princess Aurora is very much like Glinda, because the 2 protagonists are optimistic and blonde-haired! They tried to persuade the 'Villain' (both Elphaba and Maleficent) to be good.
Fiyero...

Notes: This is a re-write of a 겨울왕국 Fanfiction I wrote on a 이전 팬팝 account, Windrises. This is a story for both this website and Fanfiction.net.

Princess Anna and 퀸 Elsa were at their kingdom. Anna said "Tonight me and Kristoff are going to go to the city's new restaurant."

Elsa said "You better behave 더 많이 mature than usual." Anna asked why. Elsa said "The new restaurant is really fancy. It has a the "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy."

Anna said "Do they really care that much about shoes?"

Elsa said "I heard a guy wearing flip flops got rejected."

Anna said "That's kind of...
