This is my opinion about why 디즈니 should revert back to the old movie ways that they use to produce.
I believe that 디즈니 Channel Original Movie have deteriorated from what they use to be. When I was growing up the moves were full of soul, purpose and everyday life issues. Nowadays all the 영화 are about 노래 and dancing about teens falling in love. Look at the movie Camp Rock. It was about a nobody girl falling in 사랑 with a real 인기 boy and their was a lot of singing. Look at High School Musical. It was about a nerdy girl falling in 사랑 with a 인기 athlete and they sang a lot. Look at the movie Starstruck. It was about nobody girl falling in 사랑 with a superstar and their was 더 많이 singing. Do 당신 see any patterns, because I do. All the newer movie just seen to insult kids and teens intelligence.
Reflecting on the 영화 I saw growing up I see a lot different plots. My all time 가장 좋아하는 movie, Tiger Cruise, was about a girl dealing with being on a navy vessel during 9/11 and helping all the kids and families get through it. I also loved Going to the Mat, a story about a blind boy that joins the wrestling team and learns that he can do anything if he puts his mind to it. Another movie was Tru Confessions. This movie was about a girl making a video about he mentally handicapped twin brother. This shows what family 사랑 is all about and the difficulty in life. Some other great 영화 were Double Team, Cadet Kelly, Right on Track, Pixel Perfect, The Color of Friendship, and Right on Track. Try and watch these movie instead of the new ones because they are shallow and discuss unimportant topics.
Why do they not have deeper topics in their plots anymore. Do they think that kids will not understand them, that they are not intelligent enough to comprehend important subjects. I am very tired of the same story being repeated ever since High School Musical. 디즈니 have such a big influence of kids and I wish they would use that to their advantage to teach kids important life lessons.
I will have to say that 레몬 에이드, 레모네이드 Mouth had a bit 더 많이 of a plot to it, it was not nearly as good as the older movies. At least it was not about a 인기 boy falling in 사랑 with a nobody girl with a lot of singing. It was a group of 프렌즈 노래 a lot. It was a little better. I hope this is the first step to getting back on the right track. I do still 사랑 all the older 디즈니 movies, even through I am older and I hope that any of 당신 that have not watched them do so soon and enjoy then as much as I have.
