Dan and Blair Article: Finale Speculations

So i was 읽기 posts on tumblr when i came through one that wrote his/her opinion about the finale, here is what they wrote:

"Okay….on the train ride 집 today…I had this terrible thought.

We know Jack is coming back to mess with Chuck. What if he finds out that Blair is engaged to the Prince and he comes back to threaten Chuck-telling him that if he doesn’t hand over the 베이스 Industries, he’ll leak the “contract” that was drawn up during the whole exchanging Blair for a hotel thing. AND THEN…Chuck (because he’s being REDEEMED here) turns over BI so that Blair’s reputation is not tarnished and she can marry her prince."

Ok so their words not mine (taken from tumblr). So what do u guys think? Personally, the 더 많이 i think about it the 더 많이 i think its going to happen. I mean the only way that they are ever going to redeem Chuck is if he begins to put blair above all else. But i just dont know where that will leave Dan in Blair's life and Dair in general...just friends? 연인들 in denial? 또는 a real couple?

sneezy56 Yeah, this is probably the most believable scenario. I don't think that's exactly bad news for Dair, given how we already kind of knew they were going to be "just friends" the rest of the season. And we were promised more Dair for season 5, so we'll just have to wait and see, I guess. The only thing that bothers me in this scenario is that I still don't see how Chuck given up his BI for Blair is a "reedeming move", let alone makes him worthy of Blair. He was facing the same choice last year and he chose the hotel. Giving up his business for Blair now is like the least he can do. It doesn't erase anything he did. Not to mention it implicitly insist on the show's conception of the hotel-trade, which is that Blair was just as much to blaim for it than Chuck (as in, the secret getting out would make her look like a whore, as opposed to a girl manipulated by her Basshole boyfriend). God, there are so many things wrong with this thing...

Dark4eva I agree...but we all know that if Chuck even does the smallest thing and it turns out to be good, Blair will fall for it and go back to him. I mean everytime that they have gotten back together....all he had to do was say: "I love you..i know it took me a long time to say it but i do", "We are inevitable", "We are meant to be", or classic "Im Chuck Bass and your Blair Waldorf...we're magnetic"....lol if these came out any other character's mouth i would think it's adorable...but seeing as it comes out of Chuck it makes me laugh at it. As if any of those reasons are good enough to make up for what he (or even she) have done. lololol
