There are many similarities. First, there are nice and nasty 팬 people on both fandom. Second, both fandom is well know for passionate defense of their ship....
It's the push and pull that both girls have with damon. The underline current of sexual tension. The way Damon pokes and prodes Elena are very similar to what he dose with Bonnie. Which is why so many Delena 팬 are threaten 의해 Bonnie.

I don't mean to be rude 또는 something.. For a Au couple who doesn't even share many scenes for the last three seasons, with no develoment in their "romance", why would delena 팬 need to be threatened 의해 them? There are no reasons to be.
당신 right let me reword it, I think it 더 많이 of a intimidation of a possibility of it happening with out Damon and Elena really coming together as a couple. when I talk to other Delena 팬 many have made this a point of theirs that they could not see Bamon happening with out Elena and Damon coming together as a couple first... they could come together 다음 season though it doesn't look like they will and this is around the same time Bonnie and Damon start to bound ( in the 책 anyway) Though the show and the 책 are two different beast the show seems to hit those major plot points in the book. Damon developing feeling for bonnie is one of those major plot point the will hit.Have damon and bonnie had less scenes then damon and elena yes, however the chemistry is there. It's not the quantity of scenes but the quality and many of Bamon scenes have this underline tension that works and is slowly building up.
Although I never read the book I get the book bamon and show bamon are very different. I doubt 당신 could just use the book to basically predict the future of them on the show... So far the show bamon's connection is primarily confined to acquaintance 또는 reluctant colleagues nothing 더 많이 nothing less. For the sake of Elena and the town, Bonnie may unwillingly mediated a some sort of truce with Damon. However, the experience of unpleasant confrontations and death of grams are still wrapped up in Bonnie's mind. This would be the biggest obstacle that may withhold bamon buildup. Could Bonnie just overlook them and get it on with Damon 다음 season? It's doubtful and would be against Bonnie's nature. If the writers decided to go that route they need long and subtle build up than little interactions to make Bamon believable not absurd 또는 rushed.
And I totally agree with 당신 on that. The Book Bamon and TV Bamon are two diffrent beast. Though I do not think there will be any kind of romance between these two characters in season 4 I do belive that a trues will take place ( for the sake of elena) I belive that these two will find themselves haveing to work together. Which is what they have to do when elena is turned in the book. I don't belive that they are following the book word for word because they are not. characters have been taken away while other have been added; however main plots and storylines from the book are being hit on, in the show which is a good thing because 팬 of the book are looking for them. I do not think they will be able to skip over Bamon... it just not likely to happen. I do belive 당신 right, the writters have to hit on the build up between these two it is important in order to make the connection real. So though I don't belive that they will be any romance in season 4 I do strongly belive that they are going to start building up this pairing through the new season. What happens after that... well that is anyones guess.
They're both very passionate. But I don't see "Bamon" happening in the show. 당신 could tell they were toying around with the idea in Season 1 because they had a few interesting scenes together but I doubt it will happen.
Damon has a lot of chemistry with both Bonnie and Elena. And because of this factor, each have confidence in their ships, therefore, very vocal about this factor.
