is there too many anti's here and not enough balance?

I can understand what you're saying to a degree. There are many antis on here, but we must commend them for a few things. Alot of the antis I have talked to know alot about Twilight. They know the characters and it seems that they are genuinely curious as to why so many people like the 책 and the movies.

당신 are right that there are alot of antis on here, but if 당신 can't really handle the ~negative picks, then 당신 can just skip over them :) That's what I do! Or, I may just slip in and say a thing 또는 two :P

There are also alot of people here who had been 팬 since the beginning, but the movies/recent explosion of the series ruined it for them. They've had time to re-evaluate the series and analyzed and seen the flaws. Nothing is perfect in this series, even Edward :P They note the corniness, the dependancy of characters, the complete illogic of the series and calmly discuss. That's the pure intention of this spot. :)

The C.A.T. spot is for everyone who is fed up with, loving, used-to-love, hating, etc, Twilight. Those who like Twilight can't really express their opinion because alot of the newer 팬 tend to yell at them! I'm sure we've all experienced that! If we have a different opinion than them, they tend to call us names 또는 whatever. And this spot is simply to escape that. I'm 팬 of both the Twilight spot and C.A.T. because, if I need a break from the fangirls over at the Twilight spot, 또는 if I want to debate a little, I head on over to this spot. :)

I have had 더 많이 than enough conversations with these lovely cats, and they don't scratch 또는 claw at me for liking 또는 defending Twilight. Although, they keep their claws sharp, every conversation I've had here is usually civil.

ANYWAY. *gives an Extra Big Momcat Snug* I totally sympathize with you. It can be hard and discouraging when you're outnumbered. (Try being a conservative on the 토론 spot, lol).

And I agree that we need 더 많이 balance. That's why I'm so glad 당신 decided to join! We need 더 많이 people like 당신 here! ^__^

Here's how I personally see it - it's not that there are too many antis. There just aren't enough Twilighters...not many who will really speak out for their side, anyway. I think what happens is that most Twilighters who come here either leave in disgust as soon as they see all the criticism and anti stuff, 또는 they 가입하기 up but feel too intimidated to really speak up and just fade quietly into the background while the antis do all the talking.

So that's why it kinda looks like an anti spot right now. Am I making sense? xD Besides reaching 1000 fans, one of my biggest goals for the CAT is getting enough mature, thoughtful pro-Twilighters to come over here, stick up for their side and even out the 토론 a little. I think that would be a huge, awesome accomplishment for the CAT if it ever happened...

But I'm rambling. =P Anyway, if you're feeling a little discouraged 의해 all the anti stuff, then start contributing! Add some pro-Twilight 이미지 또는 write a soapbox about why you're a 팬 of Twilight. Stand up for what 당신 사랑 and give your fandom a good name! As long as 당신 have a good attitude about it and are willing to listen to what the other "kittens" have to say, you'll have nothing to be afraid 또는 ashamed of.

And respect is a two-way street. So if anyone dares to rate your stuff low 또는 put up nasty 코멘트 just because it's pro, they can go eat my shorts. (Ya hear that, kittehs? DON'T MESS WITH THE MOMCAT. SHE HAS EDIBLE SHORTS.)

Dont wanna sound like a bitch, but this is a Cat spot, and this is the only place where people can get there feelings out about what they dont like.
Where else are they gonna do it... on the twilight spots? No. because people will bitch.

I like twilight, but i like this spot more, im so sick of how overrated it has become and really this is the spot were u come to escape from everyone always talking about twilight and peoplee complaining with others....

I concur that there is certainly 더 많이 anti content on this spot than pro Twilight content. But as MomCat said, the Twilighters don't speak up as they should. We want them to, we want to have a friendly 토론 with them. We don't even have to debate, we can just discuss and be buddiez. :) Talking to someone with very different tastes and ideals than me in a civilized manner is like crack to me. I 사랑 it, it's so fascinating.

The thing is though, that the people that 사랑 this series aren't speaking up. I personally dislike Twilight, but I WANT to talk to Twilighters. I may be anti, but I have no qualms against talking to people who like Twilight. I want to see how things are going on the other side of the fence.

I can understand that 당신 may feel intimidated, though, 의해 speaking of your 사랑 for Twilight in front of a bunch of anti's in fear of getting gang-raped, beaten, and left in an alley (like on other spots I know hurhur). That's perfectly understandable. But 당신 have nothing to worry about here, I promise 당신 that. I will defend anyone, pro 또는 anti Twilight, that gets ganged up on and/or treated nastily. So have no fear; so long as you're nice to us, we'll be nice to you. And the world goes round.

The people here may be in majority 'anti' but most are respectful to Twilight 팬 if they wished to participate in a real discussion about the series rather than a never ending discussion on how "sPArkly anD Hawt iZ eDwarD cOMpared 2 JacOB? The people here wish to engage in an intelligent conversation about the series (both good and bad aspects) rather than a full paragraph about Jacob's 6-pack.

I'm also not gonna lie and say there isn't any negative content about Twilight, because there certainly is. This is because the series isn't for everyone and yet 24/7 its being shoved in our faces whether we like it 또는 not. Anti's should be able to have their say just as the pro-Twilight people get to have there's, and the difference here is that they know they won't get attacked 의해 the 'Twilight fangirl army' if they decide to vent their negative opinion on the subject.

I agree with everyone else. We won't pounce we 사랑 to hear different opinions. Nothing like a good ol' different point-of-view to start a new discussion topic. I don't call myself anti (although I'm not a fan) and there are still aspects of the 책 I like. Maybe this spot is like everything else - people have a habit of focussing on the negative rather than the positive. We do need to fix the balance. I'll remember to support what I like about the series and we need 더 많이 팬 to 가입하기 as well. I find discussion WAY 더 많이 interesting than intimidation and one-sided opinions.

I'm an anti myself (spare me!) and i believe anti's gravitate to this spot because it's CRITICAL of twilight. I personally do not like the reasoning that 'Twilight sucks, cos it just does' because that sounds like a 5 년 old wrote it and has no reasoning behind it. I think there should be some 더 많이 팬 on here to keep the arguments interesting. :)

I also think that if 당신 balance out the number of twihards on the Twilight spot compared to the number of anti's then it evens out.

Sorry if it seems that way. It's just that if antis don't find a way to vent, we might just snap! I mean, anti clubs aren't allowed, this club welcomes antis, and it hasn't been deleted yet, so...
