I have Some Thoughts but Imma let 'em marinate for a while.

I loved most of it. I loved the end were Robby redeemed to Johnny, it nearly put tears in my eyes. I felt really bad for Hawk when the Cobra Kais shaved his purple mohawk but I loved how he became Miyagi-Do and how he got Moon back. I nearly felt bad for Kreese when Terry set him up. I hope that Johnny does find Miguel in Ecuador. This season is epic!

I really really liked some of it…But overall I’m pretty sure it was my least favorite season…in many ways.

Good- It looks like they learned their lessons about not making so many over-the-top fight sequences that frankly don’t look very realistic. (See S3)I didn’t see any jarring examples of actors suddenly looking 25 years younger because the camera lingers too long on the stunt double. Stuff like that really takes you out of it. They did much…much better in that regard.

BAD- the love quadrangle fight at the pool didn’t work for me because of the over-the-top…twirl your dancing partner into the other team BS. (It was out of nowhere…IF it was when they were actually dancing in the gym it might have been one thing.)BUT it wasn’t…and it was beyond impractical, hurt credibility and ruined an otherwise perfectly good fight scene. These fights need to HALFWAY look like something that could happen in an actual fight…or what’s the point?

I think it took a while to warm up but once it got going I really enjoyed it !

It wasn't as dynamic as the last seasons though and wasn't as nail biting as it could have been.I still can't help but love it though Cobra Kai will always be one of my all time favourite shows :)
