It was six o' clock in San Francisco. Half of the inhabitants were already awake. Wyatt, Chris and Melinda Halliwell were not part of those people. All three of them were still lying in their comfortable beds. Until…
"Wyatt! Chris! Melinda!"
Wyatt fell out of his bed, taking a girl with him. Chris pulled his cheats over his head. And Melinda jumped right out of 침대 and ran downstairs.
She entered the 부엌, 주방 were her mother Piper had sat the 표, 테이블 and was now making coffee. She turned around and saw Melinda, who seemed to be wide awake.
"Good morning, honey. How was your night?" Piper asked, while pouring boiled water in the coffee machine.
"Yeah, great" Melinda answered. "It's really amazing how peaceful your night can be when you're not doing anything other than sleeping, isn't it, Wyatt?"
Wyatt had just entered the 부엌, 주방 and shot his sister and mother a quasi-innocent look. "Huh? What? Sorry, I'm not exactly awake yet"
Piper turned around again to grab the 땅콩 butter, something that could not be missed on this breakfast table. While Piper turned around, Wyatt took advantage of the situation and grabbed Melinda's arm.
He pinned his glance in her eyes and threaded softly: "If 당신 tell mom anything about my night, I'll tell the whole school 당신 have a crush on Dean"
Melinda curled her nose and retched. "My God, he's like the biggest nerd in San Francisco. Well, no, actually that would be Chris-"
"Prudence Melinda Halliwell!" Piper snappily interrupted her. "Don't let me hear 당신 say anything like that again. He's your brother"
Melinda rolled her eyes. "Come on, mom, the guy weighs 330 pounds, has no social life and happens to be my brother. Life is so not fair"
"Melinda, stop being such a drama 퀸 and pass me the marmalade" Wyatt requested. Melinda handed him the marmalade. While he lubricated his slice of bread, Piper went upstairs to get Chris.
He was still lying in his bed, when Piper pulled the cheats away. Chris groaned and looked up at his mother.
"Time to get up, sloth" Piper harshly said. Chris stumbled out of 침대 and walked out of his room and Piper followed him.
"Finally awake, are you?" Melinda said when Chris sank down on a chair. He grabbed a slice of 빵 and lubricated it with 땅콩 butter. "Nervous?"
Chris looked up and frowned. "Nervous? Why?"
"Because we're getting 또는 exam results" Melinda answered. Chris shook his head. "Off course not, when 당신 don't have a life, 당신 have lots of times to study" Melinda sarcastically continued.
Piper shot her a warning glance to make her shut up.
"Okay, I'm going to get ready" Melinda said and she got up of her chair. Wyatt's eyes widened and he got up, too. Melinda saw him aiming for the bathroom and started running.
"No way, I'm going first!" Wyatt yelled.
"Eh eh, ladies first!" Melinda shouted back. She reached the bathroom, opened the door, entered the room and locked the door. Wyatt hit the door with his hand and used a verbiage from which Piper didn't know he knew the words.
"Wyatt!" she snapped. Wyatt lifted up his hand in an apologizing way. "Sorry" he mumbled. He walked back to the 부엌, 주방 and sank down on his chair. Chris was eating his fourth sandwich.
"You really shouldn't eat so much, Perry" Wyatt said with a look at Chris. Chris didn't listen. "I mean it, Chris, you're 연기 like 당신 haven't eaten in days. Don't 당신 want some friends?"
Chris shrugged. What did he care?
"Because 당신 won't make them 의해 being such a wolverine" Wyatt finished.
"Are 당신 finished?" Chris asked.
"Yeah" Wyatt answered.
"Good"
Half hours later all three of them were ready to go to school. Wyatt grabbed his keys and unlocked his car. He sat on the driver's seat, while Melinda sat 다음 to him and Chris on the back. Wyatt drove away to school.
When they arrived Melinda turned to Chris. "Okay, wait five 분 before getting out. I don't want the people to see us together"
She and Wyatt got out of the car and Melinda ran to her friends. Chris kept an eye on his watch to check the hour. Wyatt sighed deeply and tapped the window. Chris looked up and Wyatt impatiently nodded with his head.
Chris got out, too and Wyatt locked his car. "You're such an idiot. 당신 don't always have to listen to Mel" Wyatt said irritated. Chris shrugged and walked away to the head entering of the school.
It was a real chaos inside the school. All students were standing 의해 a big plaque and crowded to get closer and see their name and results.
Chris already knew he didn't have to check the results to see he did an outstanding job, but he was still curious.
While he tried to get closer, he heard a scream.
"No! God, how can this be possible? I've spent sixteen hours on that exam" Bianca exclaimed. Bianca happened to be the most 인기 girl of the school. Unfortunately she didn't get 인기 because of her study methods.
"Yeah, honey, but you've done other things, too, in those sixteen hours" Jessy replied. "Like shaving your legs, go to the spa, go shopping…I'm just saying"
"What am I supposed to do?" Bianca anxiously asked. This was a catastrophe, a disaster.
"Well, 당신 could always ask for some tutoring" Jessy suggested. "I don't think it could be very hard to find someone who has a higher score than you"
She let her eyes glide over the list until they reached the 상단, 맨 위로 where the name of the students with the highest score was written.
"Got it" she said. "You need Halliwell"
A naughty smile appeared on Bianca's face. "Halliwell? That doesn't sound too bad. He's like the hottest guy in school"
Jessy blinked her eyes. Apparently Bianca misunderstood her. She laid her hands on her shoulder and turned her around so she could see Chris standing in the crowd. "I meant Chris"
Bianca's eyes widened and gasped for breath. "You can't be serious"
"I'm afraid I am" Jessy said.
"But he's such a nerd. He's fat and ugly and he probably smells" Bianca complained.
"Hey, 당신 want to pass this 년 또는 not?" Jessy harshly said.
"Yeah, off course" Bianca said.
"Than quit nagging and take action" she said and she pushed her in Chris's direction.
"Wyatt! Chris! Melinda!"
