Claude Rains Bloopers

Lazzara I have long wondered whether Claude Rains was the voice of Jacob Marley in the 1935 production of "A Christmas Carol" (staring Seymour Hicks as Scrooge). In this, the first sound feature version of the Dickens classic tale, Marley's character is invisible and no credit is given to his voice. Any thoughts on this?
