Its not that I didn't like the whole idea, but I hate April for leaving him! He is just so oblivious and women always take advantage of that like the woman that had him babysit her baby while she went on a date. So, heartbreaking! :'(

It seemed to me that the show was just doing it for the sake of doing it. I would have preferred him to have been with someone he really cared about (and who cared about him) for the first time.

Mixed reaction.... it was about time, and something you would expect to be part of a Cas-becomes-human storyline. But April was evil. And just typical of love interests in this series. They're either evil, die or both.

Also, is anyone else remembering the woman (can't remember her name) Emmanuel!Cas was married to while he was amnesiac after the Leviathans? I assumed he'd lost his virginity to her.
