When Calvin is thinking, I like Hobbes's reactions, but I like to see the other characters reactions to what he has done wrong and what he makes up to try and get out of it more

The stuff he gets himself into is pretty hilarious.

There aren't too many six year olds that make me stop and think about life. Death, maybe, but not life and its meanings.

as much as i appreciated Calvin philosphically, the art in pensive strips are beautiful but kinda boring. In contrast, the mischevious calvin often has the most entertaining expressions.

The philosophical debates are what makes Calvin and Hobbes unique in the world of comic strips. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Calvin's misdeeds and wrongdoings as well, but think about the amount of comic strips in which a child misbehaves versus the amount of comic strips in which a child discusses life and death or other deep topics.

I think both, but calvin thinks he's spaceman spiff, and THAT will lead to mischeif, not counting all the of mischeif he makes!

It's odder and generally interesting in itself. The mischievous stuff tends to be interesting and funny too, though.

I enjoy both. I actually get a bit more philosophical reading some of the things that Calvin says. But, the pranks he does are hilarious, too! XD
