I loved him in every season, but I tend to think most of the characters were at their best in season five. His character was still bad but developing so much into the hero that he's going to be and going through trials in this season.

He deals with a lot, realizing his love for Buffy, his new friendship with Dawn, but temptation in the form of his past lover Drusilla. It's just amazing when you watch and see how far he's come from being evil in season two to season five but how much further he still has yet to go to be called good.

i do like him bad, but i'm a spuffy girl and we see a lot more of him and different sides to him in season 5

I like bad spike, so it was a toughie between 2 and 4 for me. I decided on 4 because he's got all these evil plans and the gem of ammarra (or however you spell it) was awesome "I can't wait to see if I freckle" honestly one of the funniest lines ever :) I loved when he was forced to seek out help from Buffy cuz of the chip and I like how they worked him into the initiative story line. When's he chanined to the tub and yelling about "telly time" and when Buffy's "torturing" him with her neck...I love it. He's still all evil and one heck of a fighter, but he's funnier and there's no Spuffy yet :)

im the same joker! i really am ot a fan when he goes all soft and we see alot more of spike spike in s4 rather than s2 when its more spike dru!

I love season 7 because it shows Spike dying! I'm an Bangel girl...

Even though he try to rape buffy, He was more a Scooby at the start and Him and Buffy had that thing. Plus he got his Soul at the end. :)

I like him in every season except maybe the 3rd because he's a little lost in his mind after Drusilla dumped him.
I have to say that School hard is one of my favorite episodes in season 2 and i really liked the way he acted with Buffy in season 5, especially when he tells her that she treats him like a man in The gift. In season 7 I also loved his lovely speech in Touched.
He made me cry :'(
