One day, Lydia and John were talking. Lydia said, "For the longest time, I've been afraid to love. When Alan gave up on me, it broke my heart. I didn't want to take the chance of getting hurt again." John said, "You don't have to be afraid. I won't give up on you." She said, "Really?" He said, "I mean it. Of course, I understand where you're coming from." She said, "You do?" He said, "I dated a girl in high school. She gave up on me, just like Alan gave up on you. I was afraid to 사랑 for a while, but I realized that I was missing out 의해 being so afraid." When Lydia told her 프렌즈 about it, Pattie said, "John is so wise." Rebecca said, "It's good that John understands you." Catherine said, "John is so good to you. You're very lucky." Marie said, "I'm glad 당신 and John found each other." Gavin said, "I believe 당신 can expect 더 많이 from John than 당신 could from Alan." One day, when Lydia was leaving work with her puppy, Foxy, she slipped and fell on a patch of ice. It was unusually cold for October. She said to Foxy, "I think I've broken my leg." He let out some barks that said, "Come on, Lydia! Get up!" She managed to get up and make it home. She told her 프렌즈 what happened. Pattie asked, "Are 당신 okay?" Lydia said, "I'm fine." All of Lydia's 프렌즈 sent get well wishes. Later, Lydia heard the doorbell ring. She looked through the peephole. It was John. She let him in. He noticed her limp and asked, "Are 당신 all right, my love?" She told him what happened. He insisted that she rest. She said, "But Foxy needs to go out." John said, "I'll take him out. 당신 need to rest." After taking Foxy for an evening walk, John went to check on Lydia. She was sleeping in her bed. He woke her gently. He asked, "Do 당신 need anything?" She said, "I don't think so." He said, "All right. I'll be back tomorrow to check on you." Sure enough, he was. Lydia's leg healed quickly, and John's kindness became the talk amongst Lydia and her friends.

Lydia and her 프렌즈 got 공식 만찬, 저녁 식사 and ended the evening with karaoke. They went to the hotel. After they unpacked their things, John called Lydia on her cellphone. She said, "I'm putting 당신 on speaker so that 당신 can talk to everyone." He said, "Okay." Lydia's 프렌즈 said, "Hello, John." He said, "Hello, everyone." Lydia's 프렌즈 introduced themselves. They talked about their adventure. John said, "You all were so noble to come to Pattie's rescue. Are 당신 all right, Pattie?" She said, "I'm fine. I do hope Alan stays in jail. He is absolutely despicable and just sick." Lydia said, "I wish there was a way to get even with him." John said, "You don't have to. Karma will get him in the end." Catherine said, "John's right. There was a guy who hurt me and my friends. He ended up dying from alcohol poisoning." Lydia said, "I guess karma is real." After talking with John, Lydia and her 프렌즈 called it a night and went to bed.
