To be quite honest, she really was not someone I would have chose for Bella. I'd still prefer Emily Browning--she's the only one I imagine to be Bella, but Kristen Stewart is growing on me. I think she'll do a pretty good job. I can't really criticize her if I haven't seen the movie.

OMG, I Love kristen stewart as bella! becasue i watched movie fours " in the land of women" , " catch that kid", " speak", " message". She"s so good actress, i like it. that's why. she's best as bella how i imagie picture. i'm happy that she got part. ;D

eh *shrugs* nothing she's done yet has blown me away but there is definitely potential (as an actress i mean). i hope that this is the film that she really "blossoms" in. physically speaking, i never really "pictured" bella, but when they chose kristen i thought "she's exactly how i would hav pictured her". emily browning has simply too striking of features. to be bella that is.

I'm a little bit worried. I hope she can pull off what I see as the more playful elements of Bella. She seems very serious and she has a deep, serious voice, too. I'm already worried about them taking themselves too seriously.
I hope its not too indicative of the tone of the movie when they're in the forest and she's asking how long he's been 17 because she seems petrified of him and he's being all creepy. But in the book they're driving and it seems more casual, 20 questions and when she says How long have you been 17 it doesn't seem like she's quite THAT nervous about asking.
I dunno, maybe thats just how I read it.

Plus, it's hard to picture Bella because Edward and apparently all the guys at her school find her pretty, but she doesn't so I don't know how to picture her. But I think it's good that Kristen is so pretty.

i hated her acting at some parts. i especially hated her acting in the hospital scene. she just kept stuttering, and she did that at other parts of the movie that really agitated me. to me, she did act the way i have always imagined bella (you know, what she's like in the books). but, now there's the same problem as with the harry potter movies. i hate hate hate emma watson (hermione) but no one else could play that part, because that's who she is now.
plus, kristen seems kind of bitchy in real life.

At first i pictured the girl from Gilmore girls as Bella!!! but then once i saw Kristen as BElla, i totaly fell in love with Kristen as Bella, she brought something to BElla that i never thought imaginible and i really think she did a amazing job! i dont think any one could do a better jub then what Kristen did! She nailed Bella and Rob nailed Edward!!!! it was amazing. After seeing Twilgiht Kristen became one of my favorite actresses and i have seen almost all her movies except, Adventureland, panic room, what jsut happen and Zarthua!!! but i will see them i have to! lol

But I can't picture anyone else in her place..

I think she works really well with Rob. I wish she would have put more expression into some of her acting. Alexis Bledel,
Emma Roberts or even Emma Watson come to mind when I think of someone who could really pull of Bella well, but Kristen's okay... I think she may be a little shy.

Kristen is great, because she's not that Holliwood beauty... and like bella she doesn't have to be GORGEOUS.. in the other hand the role for Rosalie required someone beautiful..

Wow vampiress i feel for ya. I absolutely hate the fact that they picked Kristen as Bella. She's a terrible actress, her voice is so monotone, and she shows absolutely no emotions during Twilight. She's a little better in New Moon, but she has yet to prove to me that her acting skill have improved.
