바비 인형 Mariposa and the Fairy Princess

MelodyLaurel Goodness, are these actual dolls? They look so cheap they look like bootleg Barbies. Or are these basic dolls? I'm hoping for the latter, because if this is how the merchandise is going to look then I'm sorely disappointed. They could have at least put some effort into making these toys, the whole point of the movies is to promote them, anyway.

manu962 I'm sure those are basic dolls. Maripsa looks so different from the transforming doll. And their boxes are small and cheap just like the boxes of every basic doll. I wonder why we didn't see a transforming doll of Catania. I hope there will be one.

CleoCorinne I believe these dolls are sold with the DVD, so that's why the quality is terrible. Usually the dolls sold with the DVDs are.

BarbieRosella Hmm... seeing this and the transforming one, it seems that Mattel never put much effort on the dolls. Even on the PS dolls, they didn't put effort much on Kristyn's dress.

manu962 Well the transforming ones are surely way better but still I have to agree about the dresses.The quality of the dresses in the transforming dolls of PS and this movie are a bit cheap. They are a toy company, the are supposed to make qualitative dolls like they did before.

manu962 Well, many people say the quality of all Barbie Movies is awful but I never thought so. Of course the animation can't be compared with the Disney ones since Disney used more time and there are more people who work for a movie. In the way they are made Barbie Movies are quite awesome. They used to make awesome dolls too until last years. I feel they are somehow starting to fail, since many people are against Barbie right now and they are not sold the way the were before.
