I ran, ran as fast as possible. A person, no, a monster like thing, was chasing me. Of course, being completely defenseless, I was so scared I thought I was going to die. I tripped on a rock and fell on my face. I had a before death experience, where my life flashed before my eyes. Good and bad times, they all came back to me, filling my head so full I could not think. My brain churning hard, my 심장 was pounding.

“STOP!” I shouted, and as soon as I said that, wind blew straight at the monster so hard, it caused it to fall over on its side.

“Aahg,” cried the creature, and I passed out.

When I woke up, I was at a campsite, and a kid with brown-black hair was staring at me.

“Excuse me, what are 당신 doing?” I said. He was still staring at me, so I snapped in his face.

“Oh, sorry. So, what are 당신 doing in these parts?”

“What is it to you?” I said sternly as I got up and walked to the forest.

“Whoa, where are 당신 going?” he said.

“Somewhere away from you,” I said.

“Katara,” he called, “the girl is leaving!” I turned around. The girl had very dark brown hair with two little braids pulled back.

“Please do not go, I really need another girl around here. It gets so boring around here with the two boys 연기 like fools,” The girl said.

“Fine I will stay,” I said, “as long as that 바이슨, 들소 beast stays away from me.”

“Oh Appa was just out of control last night. He is usually a real sweetie,” She went over and pet him. I went over and pet him too.

"So, 당신 must be Katara. Who's the creeper guy..."

"That, unfortunately, is my brother Sokka. Don't worry. I'm sure he means well."

"I can hear 당신 guys!" he yelled over to us.

"It was mean't to be heard," I yelled back. I could hear him give a little huff and then walk away. "So, Katara, who else is here. Only airbenders have flying 바이슨, 들소 and obviously neither of 당신 are air benders." She gave me a weird glance and started walking away from Appa, and I followed her.

"It's me, Sokka, and Aang,"
"Who's Aang?" Suddenly, a small ruffle came from the bushes when a young boy popped out of them. I immediately knew who it was when I saw the blue arrows running across his skin. I looked at Katara. "You're travelling with the Avatar? 당신 guys are the ones travelling with him?" Her brown eyes looked at me as if I were insane.

"Yes, we're the ones traveling with the Avatar. But we just call him Aang." The 아바타 was staring at me, a little bit of drool dripping down his chin. I looked down at myself and noticed I barely had any clothing on, almost all of it ripped off. My long 치마 became asymmetrical with a long slit on the side and my 상단, 맨 위로 cut off higher than my belly button and my sleeves became straps. "Aang, 당신 have some drool.." Katara said annoyed. He blinked and then wiped his chin, blushing a deep beet red.

"Haha, uh, sorry. I'm Aang-"

"Yes, I know," I interupted.

"Joselyn. Just call me Joselyn."

"Nice to meet 당신 Joselyn." Drool began to forn on his chin again, so I ripped off some of my 치마 and wiped it off his face. He turned another shade of red.

"Well, I better be on my way." I made a gust of wind that gathered my things into a backpack and flew it to my side. They gave me an odd look. "What? 당신 act as if you've never seen an airbender!"

"I-I thought they were all gone!" Aang said, "Wiped out 의해 the 불, 화재 nation."

"Not me. I was 겨울왕국 in the sea. I was unfrozen 의해 불, 화재 nation about six years ago. Zuko kept me in his palace nice and safe, until I ran away."

"Please, 당신 have to stay here," Aang begged.

"Why should I?"

"You can help us defeat the 불, 화재 nation." I thought it over, and nodded my head.

"Fine, I'll stay." I looked at Katara. "Just make sure the boys don't start drooling again."
