It started, with a star…

How many times have 당신 fallen in 사랑 with someone 당신 know 당신 can't be with.…? Not for anything... 당신 can't run away, and they can't 사랑 당신 back....

or-- won't.....

I am a falling star. I am Ashtaroth. That is my human name, my real name is Unukalhai. I am part of the constellation Serpens Caput. Every 별, 스타 that falls dies when it hits the ground-- Except one. It is very seldom, but, if the world needs help... The chosen star, when it falls, does not die. It, in fact, turns into an angel. 당신 must know that all 천사 are stars. However, only one can exist on Earth at once, and they are what we (us stars of course) call "un-touchable". They cannot get hurt, they cannot die. The stars soul purpose on Earth is to solve the problem. And when the problem is solved, the 별, 스타 dies. So, basically, If a 별, 스타 comes to Earth, they will die regardless of what ends up happening here.

It was one of those days, 또는 nights, (to a star, there is no difference) where 당신 knew something was going to happen. 당신 didn’t know what, but there was that feeling in the 우주 around you. Everybody was all shifty, like they knew something I didn’t.

I felt like that today. And guess what happened? A meteor shower, that’s what. Several of us all at once began to feel the lack of that complete immobilizing grip that held us to the fabric of the sky.... It was as if I was hanging 의해 a thread, then…

*SNAP* the thread broke.

I was falling. I mean it was understandable. Imagine, being alive for thousands of years then, "SNIP", and the sky turns 당신 loose and 당신 have absolutely no control what-so-ever of where 당신 are going? Suddenly feeling he pull of gravity toward Earth, a place where nearly all are destined to die.

I shot like a bullet, traveling a million miles and hour..... I saw the wind, the time and seasons changing around me..... I was alone, completely, utterly alone..... I don't know what happened to the others, but they were no longer with me. I was to die, alone. I always knew I would, and the thought never bothered me, until now. I was rushing at 믿을 수 없는 speeds, thrashing my flares as if I could slow myself...

*CRASH*

I woke up in a strange place that disobeyed all rules of nature. For one thing I could 옮기기 on my own, for two my flares were no longer flashes of light that lasted half a second, but solid and for three there were small sparks of various lengths protruding from the ends of these "solid flares". I had never seen, nor heard of any thing like this. I had a body.... there were long string like things connected to the 상단, 맨 위로 of me... The color, I find out later is called “pale blonde”,
I also had a leathery “binding”, that held me together it was white, pure white.
I wore, what I learn later is called "dress" of white, with long trailing "sleeves" as I learn they’re called. I also received some things that are light and feathery that I learn are called "wings" yet, they were retractable, like a cat’s claws....

I walked across the "grass" through the "woods" it was night, I was sure of that. For I knew that on Earth, night and 일 change. There are many stories of the sky, myths, and legends; about “the Earth stars” or, I guess 당신 call them humans. One is about the two things called night and 일 that are constantly changing.... And there are some that tell of different kinds Earth stars, some that rule the skies, others the dwell in the murky depths of blue (oceans), we have also heard of monsters that have sharpened 본즈 called fangs and claws that they use to rip apart the flesh of Earth stars (this one I’m familiar with, being related to one myself.). But my favorite, is called love. 당신 see, stars can’t love, and they want it. Strange concept for 당신 isn’t it. The thing is, none of us know if it’s real. Even 당신 Earth stars 질문 it sometimes.

I felt the 잔디 beneath my "feet", and the "wind" against my flesh, I felt so.... at home. I felt that strange sense of belonging to this world. Like I was meant to be here. Like there was no where else I was supposed to be.

I have a mission... a mission to restore the Earth star's connection with earth, and themselves... To create peace. To bring 사랑 back to this broken world, that is my soul purpose for existing. The one and only reason I lived, while the others died. There’s only one problem, I have only one 월 to do so. If I do not complete it, I die, and the Earth will forever be separated from the stars. They will be on their own---

Forever.....

I drifted over to the "lake" and stared into the blue. There was a girl staring back up at me, she had pale blonde hair, 도자기 white skin, and lavender eyes.

I stayed there, 시간 after hour, sitting in the grass, picking "flowers", and mimicking nature. Humming like "bees", swaying like 꽃 in the wind, standing tall and strong like "trees", whistling and chirping with birds.... The birds and 동물 that I copied came to me, and I jumped and leaped with the deer, galloped as fast and long as the horses. They talk to me, they all do; the trees, the birds, the flowers, the soil.... The earth speaks to everyone, everyone and everything has a voice. If 당신 can't hear it, than 당신 are not listening. There was that sense of belonging again. Though I would not feel like this forever, there was no other place I would rather be. I really was meant to be here.

The dawn is coming. I see the sun climbing over the mountains, she says “good morning!” I reply "Good morning!!" It was the first time I had spoken.... The sound of my voice made the light spread over every stone, flower, and tree, casting long early morning shadows.... My voice woke the birds and the earth stars. The very first 'good morning', is what really brings the Earth to life. From who? Doesn’t matter. It just matters if it is said 또는 not. That’s why we get up early. And why do 당신 think the 일 are so short and the nights are so long in winter? Well, think about it, who wants to get up early and go outside just to wake up the sun in winter? Certainly not I.

On the other side of the lake, the Earth stars were awakening.... I sprinted across the surface of the still water, and landed precisely and gracefully on the shore. I floated across the ground, looking in wonder at the strange things the Earth stars were living in. The shelters were made of fabric and propped up with long smooth sticks. Someone beside me opened the fabric, and crawled out, inside there were multi-colored sacks that were opened at one end, and the Earth stars would then crawl into the open end and lay there all night. It is a bit strange here, so ignorant was I at the time. Didn’t know anyone, didn’t know anything.

I walked and walked until I saw an Earth 별, 스타 that looked the same age I was, only, of course he couldn't have been. For I am several thousand years old. He had dark, dark hair, dark misty eyes and a somewhat dark completion. He had obviously seen some sun in his life. "Hello!" I said cheerfully. He looked at me and smiled "Hi." he said. "Can 당신 show me how to get to the nearest battle field?" I asked politely. "Ummm..." he trailed off. It was obvious no one had ever asked him that question. "Which direction should I walk in?" I asked helping him along. "Let me-- go get a map..." he said slowly. “Here’s one." I said pretending to unfold an imaginary map, and right before our eyes a map of the earth appeared in mid air. I handed it to him. He stared at it in pure astonishment. "What are you?" he asked scanning me up and down. "I am an Earth star." I said shrugging my shoulders, not technically lying.... I am one in form......and besides he asked me what I am, not what I was.......

"May I see the map?" I asked him. He slowly passed it to me, "Sure...." I took it carefully and unfolded it. "Where is the war?" I asked again hoping for an actual answer this time. "Here somewhere..." he said pointing to a shape with strange markings on it. “Alright," I said circling the shape with my index finger, the place my finger touched glowed white, "Where are we now?" I asked. He pointed to another, much smaller shape in a large "continent". I circled it with my index finger and wrote in Rishima (star language) 'beginning' and over the place we were going to I wrote 'end of journey' I traced the route we would take allowing stops along the way, having learned that Earth stars must sleep. Once again everywhere I touched glowed white. "I'm ready," I said standing up "let's go." "Go where?" He said, looking terrified. "To the battle field." I said matter-of-factly. I put the map safely in my pocket. "Why am I coming?" He asked in horror "Now that 당신 know where I'm going," I began "you have to come with me." "Umm..." he paused, he ran he tried to get away. He was fast, but I was faster..... I zipped in front of him faster than lightning and held out my arms to block him. He crashed into me, I stood stock still, but he fell backward staring up at me in complete disbelief. "I said you’re coming with me." I told him forcefully "And I'm not taking no for an answer- are 당신 coming with me?" "Do I have a choice?" He asked angrily. I shrugged my shoulders "No." I said and with that I grabbed his arm, and, pulling him up with me, we took off....
