Okay, here’s the deal. Shu(Sportshuie) and I are organizing a rewatch of all 65 episodes, but only if there are a reasonable number of people interested. We would like to start in the middle of January and rewatch on Saturdays. At this point, the first four seasons are on Netflix and some of you have dvds I believe. If and when we got to Season 5, we’d have to figure that out. Since the whole thing would take over a year, the problem could solve itself.

It would be best to do each as a separate thread at forums, then we could post pictures and videos in our comments if we wanted to. These are preliminary plans for those who may be interested and here’s what the above poll choices mean:

Choice one. You want to be a part and moderate threads. Shu and I would assign certain folks to moderate episode threads, how many depends on how many folks we get. Maybe would take a Season at a time to assign? Those assigned to moderate a thread would be responsible for putting up the forum post and formulating a list of discussion questions for that episode. How many? We haven’t gotten that far in our thought processes yet, lol. Of course always our main focus would be Arwen but certainly not limited to that. TV dot com looks at costumes for part of their rewatch questions and also certain standard statements such as statements about Arthur becoming a legendary king, etc.

Choice Two. You would probably take part in watching and in discussions but don’t have time or interest in taking on moderating any threads.

Choice Three. You may come by the club from time to time and don’t know how much you’d be interested in rewatching on a regular basis and discussing except maybe an occasional one now and then. Or, even if you come by often, you’d rather rewatch on your own schedule. That’s fine, that’s what we’re trying to figure out! May not be for everybody.

Choice Four. You are not really interested in rewatching at least not yet. I’m sure you have your reasons!

You don’t have to comment here unless you want to; just make your choice so we can get an idea. If not enough interest, we’ll scrap it for now. PLEASE any questions or suggestions, pm one of us! I’ll keep refreshing this for a week or so in hopes more folks see it on updates.

By the way. If you choose number one, please write and tell us who you are.

Thanks for the link, fanfam. Hope it's a help to someone. We'll see how this goes the next few days before we decide if we want to do this. Still not sure. Been a tad bit slow around here so not many responses yet.

We could do Season 1 and see how that goes if we get one more willing moderator....If S1 falls flat, then we can always scrap it. :)

I think better not as I don't to disappoint and not do what is supposed to be done. But i do wanna help whenever i can. are there enough people for this anyway?

That's what is unsure, Joppa. I was just writing Shu now telling her maybe we'll just try Season 1 and see how it goes. If it flops, we'll drop it. This way others can see what we're doing and decide better I think. I know what you mean about the busy schedule. The winter months are usually when I have most time so I'll give it a shot and see. From my calcs we just gained another moderator since I posted the last comment 45 minutes ago, so not counting you we have five which is pretty good. More the merrier. I'll count you as one who will try to rewatch and participate then, Joppa.

Out of 18 so far who took the poll, 11% not interested so I think we should take a shot at it like I said.

According to my calculations, seven people said they would like to help as moderators. I only know of me, Shu and Ellarose, with Joppa changing her mind. Could the other three let us know who you are?

It would be a nice idea but I the times (in regards to time zones) might to quite awkward to sort out.

@goodbyemra: Time zone doesn't matter! We'll have a week to rewatch each episode and each person can do it at a time convenient for them. Rewatch, then come to the respective forum to comment and discuss. We hope to inspire some of our much talent around here to do fanart, fanfic, and fanvids. Reliving the past and doing it when it suits each individual.

We're looking to get started this coming Saturday. So a rewatch of the first episode ever would be scheduled for the week of Jan. 12 through that next Friday. Then episode 2 from the 19th and so on. You can even jump in late for any episode. Very simple. Doing Season 1 to see how it goes and then we'll re-evaulate the thing.

Trying to get things set up so I can contact any potential moderators. The only thing is we need to hear from those of you who said you'd like to help out as mods. You'll only need to be available for your scheduled episode(s) sometime on a Friday late to post the forum and think up a few teaser points for discussion. Which means you should watch the episode before you post the forum. First three episodes are taken care of (me, Shu and EllaRose) and we're setting up a schedule. Any preferences let me know. No biggy. We're here to have fun but if we have two or three more mods it would make it really easy for each one. There'll be a standard copy/paste wording for each forum post so once it's set up we just have fun and enjoy. There will be master list of things we'll look for each episode which will be a part of the copy/paste info and mods will make sure that we keep up that as well, though others participating can fill in that info as we watch.

You'll see. I like the way they do things at tv dot com so I'm borrowing a lot of this from their rewatch of the first three seasons during Season 4 filming. They did one after that which was themed and a bit more complicated. I don't think we've done this before here so let's feel our way and see what happens. People here have a way of making what we do worthwhile. And remember, our focus of course is Arwen but we aren't only interested in Arwen but the show as a whole.
