I certainly focus on the movie as a whole, Johnny Depp is just a bonus. People always get that way about Johnny Depp though.

i was thinking of the fact on the Official website the first things they put on there is mad hatter.. what about Alice.. She's the main character!

gosh imagine their next film, Dark shadows, we're going to have vampire fans AND Johnny Depp fan, both have annoyingly high fan girl attitudes.

The focus is all on Johnny Depp. Every poster I see in the teaters features Johnny Depp. If I do a google search for Alice in Wonderland, I come up with some story about Johnny Depp. Heck, we might as well just rename the movie "Tarrant in Underland!"

Ok seriously, Johnny Depp makes a brilliant Mad Hatter, and he deserves some attention, because everybody used to just view him as a crazy lunatic, but Tim Burton brought in a whole other aspect to the character, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. And there's still lots of room for the other characters.
