Early life
Larter was born in 체리 Hill, New Jersey, the daughter of Margaret, a homemaker, and Danforth Larter, a trucking executive.[5][6] She attended Carusi Middle School and 체리 언덕, 힐 High School West. She began modeling with Ford 모델 at the age of fourteen and traveled the world. At seventeen, Larter settled temporarily in Japan.[7] Later, in 1995, she accompanied her boyfriend in his 옮기기 to Los Angeles, California. Soon afterwards, he left her and she flew to Australia "to put a little distance between us."[8] Back in Los Angeles, she began taking 연기 classes at a friend's suggestion.

He had written this really strong female character and for me, it was an opportunity to overcome my fear of 노래 and dancing because I have no professional training. Also, I would get to live in another country for couple of months. With 히어로즈 I didn't think of it as that huge sci-fi series and it was the same for Marigold. She's incredibly strong, patient.
