I think Moonlight was cursed before it started. From everything I read it has so much trouble. Everyone fought over the direction, then the writer's strike screwed us out of five episodes. After the strike they fired the writers. Then they promoted a husband/wife team to write the last four episodes that they were counting on to save the show. I heard CBS was going to bring it back, but wanted the WB to kick in 더 많이 money. The WB wanted CBS to kick in 더 많이 money. Moonlight was a casualty of the network.
