Queue it to see the transformation of Al Pacino's character. Queue it because Gene Hackman says it was his best 연기 role of all time. Queue it because you've never heard of it and have no idea what it is about and didn't even know the film existed until now. Queue it to get an authentic feel for the early 1970s in America.

Fun Trivia: Before shooting, Gene and Al dressed as hobos and hitchiked their way through California to get in character. That'd be some pick up.

Surviving a pain killer addiction, alcoholism, and breast cancer couldn't have helped much either.
