The mystery surrounding the "real SHIELD" on "Marvel\'s Agents of SHIELD" is even more confusing. A new image released by Marvel includes the revelation that guest star Edward James Olmos will seemingly play the head of the organization. 

Based on the image\'s tagline, that\'s certainly not good news for Coulson.

A character poster released for the man Olmos portrays has the character standing in front of the organization\'s logo, with "Has Coulson met his match?" emblazoned across the top. If the trailer for next week\'s episode is any indication, he certainly might have.

With his own agents siding against him, Coulson faces a true threat with this real SHIELD and it\'s one he may not even realize he\'s up against.

The question that remains is who is behind this other group. Mack (Henry Simmons) explained that the organization "came out of the wreckage [Nick] Fury left." Who is truly leading the group, though? It certainly could be Olmos, who revealed to Comic Book Resources that he was joining "Agents of SHIELD" for "between three to five/six shows." However, the mystery could go much deeper.

Olmos makes his "Agents of SHIELD" debut in the episode "Love in the Time of HYDRA" on Tuesday, March 24, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
