So as we all found out Agent Triplett is the grandson of a howling commando. Seeing as the only proof that we have is that the only African American in the howling commandos to fight Hydra was Gabe Jones (though there is no proof that he was the only african american) but yeah, That his is grandfather and I find that amazingly cool.

Gabe Jones: In 1943, Jones was captured 의해 HYDRA and placed in a cell with other allied prisoners. When Captain America single-handedly assaulted the facility in which he was prisoner, Jones, along with his companions, broke free and wreaked havoc on the HYDRA soldiers and the base, coming back to US military base immediately after.

Jones, after a brief conversation in French with Jacques Dernier, happily accepted.
