"Positions?" Revenge asked, crouching on the roof.

"All here." Draxx said.

"You see him, hit him. No loose ends this time." Revenge said. "No mercy." he added with gritted teeth.

"Revenge, I'm picking up a couple of civilian vehicles approaching. Few minivans. Reaper-"

"Is probably hiding inside." Revenge finished. "We can't endanger civilians, I'll warn Draxx's snipers."

Revenge switched the frequency to the one the cops were on. "Snipers, beware. Reaper is most likely going to make his entrance through this upcoming group of civilian vehicles. Hit him, don't hurt civilians though."...

Prologue-


Robin was thankful when Revenge arrived. He could always somehow manage to keep the two lovebirds from destroying the Cave.

So naturally the first words out of his mouth were "Robin, I need your help with something."

Jade was crying her 심장 out. Never had she felt so lost. She had hurt her sisters, she had tormented herself, and she was aching for something she knew she could never have. Jade got off her bed, pulling the gun from underneath. She held it to her head and was about to pull the trigger. But a voice stopped her. “Stop! Don't....please don't....”

Behind me, the door opened and closed. Artemis stood beside me, speechless.

1:47 CET December 19

Artemis's communicator buzzed. What was 배트맨 calling this early in the morning for? She picked it up and, making sure Wally was asleep, slipped out onto the roof.

"Yes?" she asked.

"Artemis," Batman's voice had a melancholy tone to it, and Artemis knew it was bad. "Your mother was abducted 의해 Cheshire and the League of Shadows."

Artemis just stared at the screen for a moment. She started to cry.
