“Becca? The team is here.”
Said leader stopped her dancing, turning to her technician and helper.
“Thanks Melody. Before 당신 go, take my weapons. Just in case. Please.”
Melody smiled and took her leader's equipment. She doubted Becca would actually use them against her team, but she wasn't about to get on Becca's bad side. Melody disappeared and Becca took a few deep breaths. She squared her shoulders, walking into the front room. Billy had obviously woken up before they arrived and was standing now. They all straightened when Becca entered.
“Well that could've gone better. Unfortunately, I don't think it could have been worse. Unless one of 당신 died. I know I'm new to the team, but I always thought a leader was in charge. So tell me, what does a leader do in your book?”
Becca raised her eyebrows when none of them answered. She walked around the front of the room.
“You can't tell me? 또는 do 당신 agree with my definition? I want an answer.”
“We agree with yours,” Alder said.
Becca pursed her lips.
“Oh. Then tell me HOW 당신 were called back early! WHAT went through your heads when I told 당신 to STOP your hunt?! Because I don't tolerate disobedience! Since 당신 were either too stupid to ignore my warning 또는 too scared to agree with me, I think you'll need some thinking time. Five hours in the gym! NO talking! Dismissed!”
Becca stormed out of the room, her anger ignited again. She headed to the computer lab, quickly typing away. Two hands touched her shoulders, massaging them.
“You are quite the leader,” Melody commented.
“They deserved it.”
“I agree. They didn't listen so they need to be disciplined. But I have a question. Why punish the whole team? Billy was the one who disobeyed.”
“Because if I only punished Billy, they'd think it'd be alright for them to screw up. If I punish them despite who did it, they'd learn that all actions, whether theirs 또는 not, have consequences.”
“How long have 당신 been a leader?”
“Five months. But I was on a few teams and learned the hard way several times. And I've been a solo act a few times. I know how each role is played. New Justice needs to figure it out now.”

Becca stopped for a minute, turning to face her co-worker. She eyed her for a 분 before opening her mouth.
“You don't know a lot about me. But let's just say, I've actually worked with this team long before it was built.”
