Actually, these spirits are called ChiJuuShuu, Evil Earth Spirits, but the other name is much easier to remember.

These nearly mindless spirits are what remains of the evil souls Arago called to the Youjakai. They can channel the negative energy that Arago controls. They are extensions of himself, using his energy in ways he can't. Several of their uses include creating huge balls of energy blocking the Troopers from calling their yorois, possession, and firing energy into whatever Arago commands. Their costume is similar to that worn 의해 Shinto priests.

It is summer of 1990. All the Troopers but Shin are in their 초 년 of high school, Shin is in his third. Nasuti is 자전거 타는 것, 자전거 around the lake near her home. She comes 집 to find a letter from Jun telling her that he's gone stargazing with Touma. Shuu and Shin meanwhile are at the 바닷가, 비치 where Shin is teaching Shuu how to surf. A big wave comes and wipes both of them out. As they lie on their boards, Shin teases Shuu that he likes to fight. Shin is just glad that they, the Troopers, no longer have to wear their yoroi.
