The best method is to forget all your ideas for the plot of the story. They'll only get in the way. Take a fresh piece of paper, sit down with your character, and listen. Your character wants his/her story told. Our characters rely on us to do just that. Listen to him/her and write it all down. Your character may be made up, but he/she is just like a real person. We all have a story. Writingit down allows us to preserve it. The same goes for your character. Write down their biography, abridged of course, and let them tell their own stories. You'll be surprised at what they say.

I think it's important to remember to give your character faults, even if they're not relevant to the plot. Like dropping stuff, being awkward, missing when aiming at something, being terrible at stealthiness. It makes characters feel 더 많이 like an actual person if they do stupid stuff sometimes. If your character can mess up, without having a good reason like being distracted, they're a lot 더 많이 believable than a character who never makes mistakes.

Make sure your story plot and character fit there subject and description. The character has to always fit on its environment, plus he 또는 she doesn't have be 연기 a 100% 또는 even 90% human it has be charcter were people will want to talk about and that type be the hardcore, bold, brave, ass kicken type and you'll get a lot of fee back especially if it's a female in her teenage years (maybe) 17 또는 18.So just 예수님 to just go with flow and do what 당신 feel is right 당신 can always fix what you've did 의해 mistake later :)

The best way to do this that I've used is to base them entirely off someone 당신 know, then reverse a few of the traits. For example, say 당신 have a friend that is smart, kind of quirky, and terrible with women. Reverse one trait, like the terrible with women one, and there 당신 go. A good ratio of that is for every five things 당신 notice about the basis for the character, reverse two of them. It's a nice way to have a deep, thought provoking character that still is useful in whatever 당신 want to write.

Think about where your character comes from, their situation, the people they associate with and what sort of things had an effect on them.... then play around with their sentence structure (how they phrase 질문 etc.) and their reactions to certain situations...

it takes a long time to really get to know a character well enough to write them down on paper and make it look like a real person....

Also, one of the most important things is being able to visualize that person (or anything in your story for that matter) like 당신 are watching movie. Camera angle so 당신 know what sort of words to emphasize to draw your reader to imagine certain key things.... 당신 name it. I hope this helps a bit. I didn't want to write a 5 paragraph essay on the subject :P
