Can someone tell me how I should write my story? (let a character tell it 또는 should I tell it?)

Okay, in the words of an editor, if a character is going to tell the story then A character should tell the story. As in, you'll have to pick one. I was surprised to hear this too. I was at a writer's conference and I was chosen to have a meeting with an editor. It was really cool! But one of the things she told me, was that when telling a story from a character's perspective 당신 should only have one character tell the story because it can be awkward for a reader. JUST WHEN 당신 start liking to hear what the character thinks and 당신 start getting to REALLY know them, 당신 are yanked out of their skin and forced to live inside a completely different perspective. Obviously a lot of writers use 더 많이 than on character's point of view in one story, but I'm just quoting what I know. :) It's up to 당신 of course, 당신 ARE the writer. 당신 could write it in third person. It has some 'ups' like how 당신 can get inside several people's heads and see what is going on in other parts of the story. Harry Potter is written in third person... But it DOES NOT allow 당신 to get that really deep connection 당신 would get if it was in first person. Because in first person 당신 know EXACTLY how the character feels about absolutely EVERYTHING. Sorry, I'm rambling. Once again, it's your call. Think about how 당신 want the story to sound and make a decision. Make a pros and cons list if needed.

Personally, I like 읽기 stories from the character's point of view. 당신 get to see the character's emotions and how they think, 당신 know? What their character is like.
