Does anybody else hate the Twilight series?

I happen to be a Twilight fan, a sane one I must add.

However, I did see things that either didn't make sense 또는 I just completely detested, and here they are;

1. 뱀파이어 in Twilight sparkle. Over time I've gotten a little used to this, but....it does sort of take away from the vampire lore. That I must say..
2. The obsessive Twilight fans, because they can take their fanship a bit overboard. I also dislike it when they don't accept others' different opinions on Edward, Jacob, 또는 the series in general.
3. The obessive haters, because they too act immaturely and show reckless behavior just like the obsessive 팬 do. I've 로스트 count for how many arguments I've seen between an obsessed 팬 and an obsessed hater....with the hater often starting the fights. (To let people know, I am not referring to respectful debates on Twilight, I'm talking about..."Bitch, 당신 don't like twilight!" "Twihards are retards!" "Edward's a sparkly gay vampire" 당신 know. The usual).
4. The fact that two werewolves, Jacob and Quil imprinted on very young children; a 3-year-old little girl and a newborn child. Imprinting in Twilight means a werewolf finds his soulmate in a person, and this is usually on romantical terms. Jacob says that he and Quil feel no romantic feelings towards Claire and Renesmee (the children), and for that present time this may be true. But if imprinting refers to soul mates the majority of the time and soul mates often include romantic love, how can one honestly be convinced that it will stay like this?
5. How Stephenie Meyer portrayed (and still treated) her human characters and evil vampires. The Cullens are described as being beautiful beyond words. However, James, the antagonist in Twilight, is described as being quite average-looking for a vampire because he was supposedly ugly when a human. Victoria wasn't necessarily called unattractive, but her beauty was never focused on as much as the Cullens' pulchritude were. As for the humans such as Eric, Angela, Lauren, and Jessica? They were clearly interesting people in the series, but they were only mentioned in a few short parts of all the books, especially Breaking Dawn. What we learned about them was that Jessica was pretty much almost your typical high school bitch, Angela had two siblings that were twins, Ben likes action films, Mike is determined when it comes to love, and that's pretty much it. I would like it if we learned more. Mainly a background story for Lauren, how about 더 많이 reasons other than a crush for immediately disliking someone so intensely?
6. The strong 사랑 between Edward and Bella. Now, I do not mean to sound offensive to those who have experienced true 사랑 or, well, anyone in general. So this is the best way I can discuss this. The way Bella reacted when Edward and the Cullens left in New Moon was...*sigh* ok, I'm not trying to sound cold when I say this but it was ridiculous. How can a person possibly behave like that after his/her partner leaves them? Maybe

4 THE 사랑 OF MY ONLY GOD! All of 당신 hate Twilight!? Thank God, I decided to do a Fanpop! I was looking 4 people like you! I hate Twilight so much that if I had Edward at front of me,I'll take his head off! I'm not violent, I just will do that! Anyway...I think that The Twilight series disapoint Dracula! I mean common! They have 2 take the head off burn it and other things! I preffer True Bood,or Buffy 또는 봉고차, 반 Helsing 또는 the Best... Dracula(Gary Oldman). I think I wrote a lot. There are so many reasons why i dont like the Twilight series, i dont agree that the relationship between Bella/Edward is very positive true 사랑 (i believe its 더 많이 like that between her and jacob) i find edward to be very controlling, absuive boyfriend.

Bella's reactions to when Edward leaves her..i mean who acts like that i mean seriously? get over it already! She used to be 더 많이 of a lively chick before she fell head over hells in a total zombie way! Even Alice has 더 많이 depth than Bella!

I think S.M should have waited and worked on the series alittle bit 더 많이 의해 creating 더 많이 indepth characters than what we have read so far.

I wouldn't say I hate it per se. I just dislike it. For the reasons 당신 noted and more;
-its so poorly written
-she's so mean to the only decent character, Jacob
-She didn't research anything
-She ignores obvious impossibilities to make her 뱀파이어 더 많이 human
-SM is stupid, quite simply stupid, she's deluded and says idiotic stuff, and doesn't even to come up wit hthe simplest expilinations for her plots and says its "our" problem not hers

HELL YES I HATE IT! 뱀파이어 don't fing sparkle!!! and they have fangs for heavens sake!! and also, the "love" crap in it makes me want to vomit! it's so mushy and fluffy and bleach! in real life, i think it's important that two people can argue once in a while and be OK with a little time away from each other. and warm fuzzy moments can be good, if it's kept at a bare minimum, because hunger is the best sauce. Another thing that bugs the shit out of me is girls who are all over-dramatic because they think their boyfriend should act like edward and then when they don't, they say like, "oh he's not treating me well enough!" blah blah blah. And the 책 sound like they were written 의해 an 8 년 old. SM said herself that they had no meaning behind them, they were written "just for entertainment", which proves they are just pages of shit!

I've read a lot of old ancient tales where 뱀파이어 were supposedly stunning.
Anyways, nah, you're not the only one, I hate it too. For some reason I used to be obsessed. There was something wrong with me, I swear.

당신 know what its ok i don't hate 또는 im not mad at 당신 because its your opinion, but sometimes its best to keep your opinons to your self.(and im saying this in a nice way).because 당신 know all those twilight 팬 will stand up for what they like.again not making any harm.

I don't hate it. It's a nice teens book, with a different type of the usual Vamps that we all know.
Even if 당신 don't like it, there is no reason to waste hate like that.
I do agree that people are make a fuss out of nothing, but that's no reason to hate it.
The name Edward will always be great, no matter what.

Noo the 책 are great there different, the movie sucked, and i don't know what 당신 read 또는 watch but 뱀파이어 are always described as beautiful.

I hate it but I just reliased why the 뱀파이어 sparkle it was suppossed to be written for 9-12-year-olds, I'm eleven apparently I know 더 많이 about 뱀파이어 than Stephen Meyer, They should still burn!! and where are the freaking fangs?! and it gets to boring after awile, Its to descriptive, theres nothing happening! And one book is just about the size of a month.And Belle falles in 사랑 with Edward in one week? Honestly go on quizilla to read a REAL 사랑 story

i 사랑 twilight but im not obsessed. the movie was horrible and i hate that when someone thinks of edward they envision rob pattinson. and im totally getting sick of hearing about it every five seconds. get a life and find a new book to read theres millions of them.

No, I rather liked it. There were some parts in the book that I didn't really care for (like how Bella overreacted when Edward left), but 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 I thought it was a good read.

I don't completly hate the Twilight series, because there is one group that does stay true to how 뱀파이어 are sopost to be and that is The Volturi. Anyone who knows me knows I am Team Volturi all the way and what pisses me off about the seires is the fact that S.Meyer made this group of very interesting characters, but just tossed them in the back round like a horrible after thought and down played them all horribly. Nobody even really likes them and Why? Because they tried to kill Bella and Renesmee. I don't know,but that, to me, sounds like a good idea. Kill off annoying Bella and a damn demon spawn that's not even sopost to logically exist. They should be given brownie points for that, but instead they're villianized and thrown out like yesterday's trash. Jasper and Rose are two other characters that are also very interesting, but just like The Volturi, they to are tossed in the back round. We barely hear anything from Jasper and Rose, is also seen as a villian because she doesn't like Bella. 당신 know what? In real life, people don't like whiney, clingy girls who freak out whenever the guy they're obssessed with walks 더 많이 then two steps away from them. I don't like Bella 또는 Edward, so I guess that makes me a villian to. There really are no new idea's in this story, the only thing that's really orginal in this series is the fact that the 뱀파이어 sparkle...Are 당신 freakin' kidding me?! Dude, if 당신 sparkle, you're either a fairy 또는 a gay guy that likes to play with body glitter. Anne 쌀 got her 뱀파이어 right, but this chick screwed up on so many levels. If she really wanted to create an epic 사랑 story with 뱀파이어 and werewolves, then she should have taken some notes from Underworld. There was love, action, and even hybrids, but it was something fun to watch and get involved in and unlike Bella, these women could actually fight for themselves instead of always needing a MAN to help them. Talk about setting women back 200 years.

I don't necessarily hate it, but I do despise all of the extra zealous hype around it.

I think it is nice to have a change in how 뱀파이어 are seen, and know that the reason for this, is for the tween population. (no gory blood, sex, fangs to scare, but sparkles to entice and uncontrollable hunger to halt premaritial sex) Not saying I like 또는 agree with it. I'd rather my vamps with fangs and sans pixie sparkles.

I think it is a good book for teens, but I really hope that this will make 팬 also turn to other books, particularly, Bram Stoker's Dracula 또는 really, link especially classics.

We don't sparkle either. Vampires, myself included, are extremely fair skinned. If we were to go into the sun, we wouldn't just sparkle, we burst completely into flame, and then be nothing but dust and ash.

I don't hate the series personally, but the whole fanatics has driven me to say that I hate it! I mean, what's the big deal? It's fanfic! When do 뱀파이어 fall in 사랑 with someone who they've known for five 초 (especially when they live for ever) just because they smell good? The characters are unconvincing and shallow and the plot is...wait a minute, there is no plot! sorry about that. Anyway, Twilight disgraces the name of vampire! Me! It failed its attempt to portray 뱀파이어 in a new light. Sure, it had some similarities to real 뱀파이어 (pale and drinking blood), but it completely ignored the other traits that molded the mystical creatures that people fear today (like burning in sunlight, aversion to crosses, etc.).

Throughout the centuries, the term vampire (or strigoi)has been defined as an undead corpse that feeds on the blood of the living, so they are basically blood sucking zombies, bodies without souls. I've read mythology all my life, so I've always had a certain disdain for pop cultures portrayal of the ancient being, but twilight's was the worst.
And i have some questions, why would a vampire that has lived for centuries go to a high school and 날짜 a 17 년 old? That should count as pedophilia.

I like the Twilight books, but I believe the films destroyed what bit of liking the 책 got. I am in the middle of both 사랑 and hate, because I fell in 사랑 with the novels, but I hate how overrated and famous it has gotten. I, for one, think the sparkling bit killed the idea of a scary vampire.

They may look pretty, but give them so dignity, please. I can see the not having fangs part, though. Their teeth were described as being so strong that they wouldn't need fangs to bite. And that they're hard and ice cold, and basically indestructible, interested me. I thought they were very strong that even on cloudy days they could go outside.

But the sparkling? Why? I think Twilight is a beautiful 사랑 story, but lacks on vampire action. It would have been nice to see 더 많이 blood in them. Bella needs to be stronger. After her depression after Edward leaving was strange. Then she just decides to use her best friend. Breaks his heart, but yet it breaks hers, too.

She feels she is meant to be with Edward, but, maybe at the same time she's meant to be with Jacob? 또는 none? I can see where Bella does make plenty of life-risking tasks: ( The ballet studio for her mother in Twilight, saving Edward from death in New Moon, saving Seth Clearwater's life in Eclipse, the fight for her child's life in Breaking Dawn --- and even her own life in Breaking Dawn.)

Bella appears to be quite mature, too. She went to a place (Forks) she didn't want to go to for her mother's happiness, so Renee could be with Phil only. And caring for her father Charlie, too. Each person, I believe has an interesting story, but it is just barely looked in to.

I wish the Volturi played a much bigger role in the Saga. Considering they are like vampire royalty. The Twilight Saga could have been great in itself if it was 더 많이 carefully done.

I do agree that the fuss and "endless love" over Twilight is a mess!
