I reckon it's because they're dark mysterious, an escape from reality. The whole blood sucking thing, although some times described as painfull is intamate and sensual. They're monsters but keep a hint of humanity, and have no limits which I guess is a 판타지 of most people. But mostly I think it's bity sucky sexual thing.
I relish them because they're dark, mysterious, attractive, engimatic, interesting, fascinating to study and examine, and there is even a chance they either were 또는 are real.
Also, 뱀파이어 were the first horror subject I willingly watched a movie about so they have grown on me ever since ^_^

OH! I also find their unlimited and terrifying thirst for human blood not only frightening, but unnerving in a good way and actually very sexy, knowing 당신 are wanted so much 의해 another creature because of such a sensual, attracting purpose. LOL, I know. I'm weird :)
Well it use to be that people didn't (a few hundred years ago). they were blamed for everything; infants dying, 음식 disappearing, strange noises, cows not giving enough milk, etc. Later someone added the whole blood sucking thing and during the conservative victorian era, 뱀파이어 became very 인기 as an innuendo to other things in books. So now they are super sexy, but still wild and dangerous....and people dig that ;)
because the vampire thing has real facts of things that a man has always dreamed of, immortal youth is a dream, but it makes the immortal in pain for ever for watching his loved ones die and he still goes on...love is a sweet dream too, but it causes a lot of pain and fear of harming who u 사랑 because of the huge amount of 사랑 inside u...it gives another way of looking at 사랑 and immortality as dreams of a man..
It's because of "Twilight" that makes people like vampires.The 뱀파이어 we knew before Twilight were described as having a cape,sleeping in coffins,turn into a bat,burned 의해 sunlight,afraid of garlic,are very boring,& don't appear on cameras 또는 mirrors.Twilight 뱀파이어 don't go into this description.They sparkle in sunlight,don't sleep at all,don't turn into a bat,aren't afraid of garlic,& they do appear in mirrors & cameras,therefore that is the reason people like vampires.Twilight 뱀파이어 are WAYYY better than 뱀파이어 back then!!!

I disagree! I 사랑 twilight but the 뱀파이어 in it are so different than the "real OLD vampires". They wont burn in the sun like other vampire 책 say, they just sparkle like crazy...
i dont really like twilight 뱀파이어 i like buffy the VAMPIRE SLAYER vampires buffy basically started the whole vampire thing.. i think tht twilight 뱀파이어 r over rated 뱀파이어 r souless monsters,they dont sparkle ppl need to get tht through their heads....if u do like 뱀파이어 watch buffy the vampire slayer...you'll see how 뱀파이어 really are and u can c if u like them after u watch it
