EDIT: And on a note, inspired by HorrorFan101's response - I find it weird that so many straight girls ship m/m, and yet are uninterested in/weirded out by f/f relationships. Most femslash relationships, I've noticed, is shipped by lesbians or bisexual women. I'm just curious why the double-standard, or why straight women are so fascinated by male/male stuff. Perhaps the same reason straight men love lesbians?

@Cinders - I think it's like you say, comparable to straight men's interest in lesbians. If there's no one in the pairing you're going to be attracted to, you're not going to find the idea hot.
