You really should get diagnosed before you go about saying you have it. There are lots of other disorders that have similar symptoms.

Yikes @ the "suffering" bit. Could've just asked if anyone "had" it. One of my closest friends has it, and he's one of the happiest people I know. No suffering on his end.

Was diagnosed a month or two ago. I don't think I'm suffering, though. My Asperger's (if the diagnosis was right and I do have it) is far from severe.

@Sarabeara I myself and my sister both have it and I know a few people of the Aspie community that went to my school, some of the people I conversed with online, and Ive meet a lot of people who arent suffering and a lot of people who are also pretty proud of it. That being said it cant be said that no one is "suffering" but there is definitely a lot of pride in those that have it.

I don't have it but my younger sister has Autism, which is similar.

I have Aspergers but I don't think I am suffering from it. I was diagnosed at age 4.

I have Aspergers, I don't suffer from it though.
