By the definition of this icon, it means something relating to / taking inspiration from an aspect of an issue with mental health, a disorder / symptom, and/or recovery from one.

Please give some explanation on your post.

My icon inspiration from dissociation and my personal experiences with it. Pretty much the matching of the black and white girl is to reference the emotional numbness and emptiness, while the background is supposed to relate similarly to the discomfort, detachment, and perception warp. The background represents perhaps a second persona that is being dissociated from to produce the smile.

My icon is inspired by my tendency to ignore my own problems by focusing everything I have on other people. The cracks are meant to show when everything reaches its boiling point and my "broken beyond repair" psyche is in plain view for everyone yet I continue to smile because I've convinced myself that my problems aren't whats important here. Sometimes you gotta take the loss. Admit you're never going to get any better and just focus on someone else.

No one saw this one coming.

I feel like its pretty self explanatory; Azula hallucinates and has delusions. The dialogue to go with this image is basically Azula stating that she wants to find out what happened to their mom too because she has some serious mom issues and her mother is the subject of most of her delusions and hallucinations.

My icon is a depiction of my emotional or indifferent barrier i put on when I am emotionally distressed in anyway. In this case it's focusing on the emotional barrier version. Only some people can truly see when I am extremely bothered and I tend to sweep my issues under the floor. As bad as it is I rather sweep my issues and not allow others to see them to worry about me. I always try to be strong or at least unfazed. I always embodied the phrase and ideology "never let them see you sweat" I always think someone will use my issues as ammo against me so I will never allow them to see that side unless I want them to. And quite honestly generally prefer that.

My icon inspiration from my younger self I was hurt physically and mentally by my own parents its all in past but still hurts when I think of it.

I somehow, feel broken. I can't however express my feelings. I feel life is too short to complain, but I can't resist it. Each step of my life has become challenging. When I was a kid, I got encouragement from my siblings and parents. But somehow, the China school messed up all of my childhood. So much pressure, hatred and falsehood. The teachers were all about....success. They were cruel and abusive, I remember a teacher pulled as student's ear so badly it was bleeding, and did so much partiality. They taught us WE should be good and true, but what about THEM? One day a lot of children grouped together and protested against abusive schoolinf. They just endured more and more partiality and harrassment, and the abusive teachers were saved. Why, if prefects and first girls/boys don't feel about the students, who would? I was a prefect, and when I did protest, I risked my job. And not to mention bullying!

This icon is inspired from my confusion of understanding the complexities of emotion and love.

Can I join ? I have generalized anxiety and I tried to represent how it can feel to not being able to escape frightening thought. It's not really well made haha. (sorry for my english)

After quite some time of busting my head about which Icon I could possibly use to represent certain aspects of my Mental Health, I decided to go with this. Not sure exacty how to define it but it is something I have talked about before and most who have gotten close to me are aware of it well already. Since I have to give an explanation for my Entry, it is about being enclosed to yourself and disregarding everything else around you. Being too unmotivated to look at your surroundings. Despite the World being a big place, you can't help but feel like being the only one in it. No one to reach out to, understand or relate to you. Relationships are uncertain. They only seem like an Illusion. The World can be a beautiful place. There are many aspects of it to be enjoyed. Yet, it is quite sad at the same time. Being Empty. Knowing that you are going through it alone and things will remain that way. As much as I might try to forget for a while and indulge in whatever makes me feel happy, these feelings will always be returning. I do not consider it such a bad case. Certainly, I used to be a lot more Depressed in the Past. Now, it's more of a thing I believe I have to live with. Not getting the best of me though. It feels as if one's Soul is divided by Joy and Grief at the same time. These two aspects coexisting but none getting ahead of the other. Just being Balanced. A bittersweet feeling, if you will? That might be it. After this, I believe this Icon's details are quite self explanatory !!!!

Note, this round will be open a bit longer than usual because I am busy with graduation stuff in my school and because I personally really liked this theme selection and would love to see more XD
