But the biggest thing that is preventing Pokemon from having an identity outside of their toys in your Happy Meal marketing is the suits' paranoia over young boys. 당신 know how much I hate their fear of what young boys want to Pokemon toys in their Happy Meals.

EVERYONE.
Pokemon is not for boys, it’s for everybody. Play Pokemon to every singles children... That includes girls. Girls don't want to go into a boys treehouse, because that's boys' stuff. Is Pokemon boys' stuff? No. Need I remind the 슈츠 about Pokemon toys released at McDonald’s??? Good thing Pokemon X and Y done correctly because Pokemon X and Y is for everybody (not for kids, the whole audiences), they probably would've done decent business at best. 당신 mean to tell me that boys are Pokemon's target audience for McDonald’s Happy Meal? Pokemon is not a video game franchise. Pokemon is a regular Japanese 90s franchise. Well, Pokemon did start with the games. But later, the cards and the 아니메 has soon followed along with moves and merchandises. There 당신 go Pokemon had a crossover appeal. 일본 got it right. Why America doesn't do the same thing? America needs to stop treating Pokemon like a video game franchise and cards. Pokemon needs 아니메 and merchandises like Tomy Pokemon figures too. Otherwise it'll fail. America needs to treat Pokemon like well, Pokemon. This is not Japan, this is the US I'm talking about and thus that's what McDonald's has to work on. Promote Pokemon toys as Pokemon toys, McDonald's. Is that simple?
This obsession with pleasing one minor chunk of their audience all stems from Pokemon. McDonald's’ newly-hired staff came on board when Pokemon was released to Happy Meal, and those "geniuses" failed to realize that Pokemon toys was for boys and not for both girls and boys. But in corporation fashion, the 슈츠 and marketing are never wrong... It's obviously Pokemon's fault for McDonald’s Happy Meal marketing released Pokemon directly to boys and not appealing girls too.

Seriously I can't stand the sight of that thing, makes me shudder just thinking about it. Also, the Malamar that appeared in the 아니메 episode "A Conspiracy to Conquer" was PURE EVIL!. It took control of so many of the main character's 포켓몬스터 like Ash's 피카츄 and Bonnie's Dedenne, and it even took control of Officer Jenny using Hypnosis. Also, through Meowth's translation the gang found out about Malamar's plot to take over the world, and although Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket teamed up to try and defeat Malamar it still managed to escape. After watching that episode, I'll admit, I'M TERRIFIED OF MALAMAR!
