Netflix announces \'House of Cards\' season 3 premiere date

, and now Netflix has announced when viewers can again watch the most powerful man in America exert his unique brand of influence.

will return for its third season on Feb. 27, 2015. The news came courtesy of a special address “from the White House.”

The third season will premiere just about a year after season two did on Feb. 14 earlier this year, but Kevin Spacey has kept busy in the interim by… basically staying in character. He played a role in 

that resembled Underwood, minus the Southern drawl, and Spacey as Underwood even offered his advice—and a warning—to Stephen Colbert.
