Valentine\'s Day the cinematic adaptation of E. L. James\' erotic romance novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, may be making the big screen a little kinkier, but the outdoor advertising campaign for the

S&M flavored flick is remarkably restrained and tasteful.

Apparently advance tickets sales of this highly-anticapted movie are the highest ever for an

R-Rated movie, so it looks like \'Mr. Grey\' is going to get a keen audience who like to watch.

Jamie Dornan\'s face out of the imagery adds to the mystery of his wealthy businessman character, whilst the tie wrapped around his fist hints at the bondage elements of story.

Dakota Johnson plays the naive and curious literature student \'Anastasia Steele\', who is drawn to the enigmatic \'Christian Grey\' when she goes to interview him and soon begins to discover his secrets and explore her own sexual desires along the way.  

Are you curious to see how the best-selling book translates on the big screen? Will you be going on your own, your significant other, or with your girlfriends to watch?

Fifty Shades of Grey doesn\'t necessarily strike Daily Billboard as the best first date movie, but on the other hand, maybe it will be the perfect ice-breaker for couples in love this Valentine\'s Day.

Giant billboards for the saucy movie have taken over the skies of

L.A. this month with super-sized outdoor ads heating things up along Wilshire Boulevard, Highland Avenue and Sunset Boulevard.

The smaller and standard landscape billboards were also spied along

Melrose Avenue from January 21 to January 24, 2015. Keeping the ad creative designs to black and white and \'shades of grey\', with just a dash of red, makes them even more thematic and striking.

If you\'re an admirer of the actor that plays the enigmatic

Mr. Grey, be sure to also enjoy these steamy Calvin Klein billboards featuring Jamie Dornan from his time as a male fashion model (so he\'s no stranger to stripping off in front of the camera).

Make sure you clear your calendar and you\'re not too tied up to enjoy some titillation on the cinema screen this February.
