	germany123 picked It annoys me.: I think its rude when it is on a submission: if you cant take the time to properly phrase your question/concern then why should i take the time to appreciate it/rate it/comment!? if it's in a comment i will ignore the comment because i cant be bothered to decipher it. and as immunicaramolivine said, it makes me doubt the users intelligence. fact of the matter is that the sane users here type normally and have something interesting to say but i have never seen anyone make a valid point in text speak EVER! posted over a year ago.

We all know how 2 could also mean both. Also, 4 sounds the same like for, at least in my book, and I'm from Bosnia! So, if people in Bosnia can understand it, then why are all the native English speakers on this site getting so annoyed about something so small like this?!? I don't get it! Where does it say in Fanpop rule book that users have to use longhand all the time??? I never found such rule on this site!! You should be more upset about the people who can't even spell a simple word in English, such as word Christian! Some people don't even know how to spell it right! How hard could that be? Forget the shorthand! It's the misspelling on this site, in polls and other stuff you should be worried about! I think you're all barking on a wrong tree here! So, some people use shorthand, like when they type an SMS message, but most people on this planet have phones now, so they all know what 2 and 4 stand for, and since you guys all have your cellphones back home, or you're even on Fanpop mobile site right now, you should all know that, too by now. Or know that 2, or whatever!!! I mean, really, people! You wanna talk shorthand now? On a site with people from all over the world who don't even know how to spell a word of English!! You're right, they should take some English classes, but so should you. This is the 21st century, we're all online now, and we send tons of SMS messages to a lot of people, and most people use shorthand all the time. Get over it! It's the users who can't spell a simple English words such as Christian, or word people, in some polls on this site, who should take the English classes!! You should all calm down! Let the people use 2 and 4, if they like. This is a social media site, not some school, college, or university! Nobody cares how you type! Don't tell me you never used shorthand on this site, or that you never made a simple typo!! Come on, people! This is a place for all of us to have fun, not a place for anyone to judge others based on the way they type! I personally don't like using it, but it's whatever. People can do what they want.
