I've been a member of 팬팝 for a little under a 년 and have been enjoying the site immensely. I glanced at my spots, er, clubs, and saw one outlined in green. What the heck? Then I saw the dot. Oh my! Could it be? Sure enough, below "my spots" was the icon: Dedicated Fan.

I am shocked and oh so excited. I've created a few spots, and added quite a bit to several, but these spots aren't that popular. That fact is fine 의해 me, but I doubted I'd ever get to be a Dedicated 팬 (a secret desire of all Fanpoppers, I'm sure). Although I check the site daily, I don't have time to add much content (I haven't even figured out how to 업로드 더 많이 that one picture at a time), and when I do, it's usually to a spot that doesn't get a lot of action. I'm so pleased that enough people have discovered, and hopefully enjoyed, the content I have provided.

Thank 당신 all for allowing me to become a Dedicated Fan...next stop-Die-Hard Fan!

Ok, everyone has bad days. They are inevitable. But I seem to think that I have a lot of bad days. I don't enjoy them, but some(or most) of them are probably my fault. This is a typical bad day. Oh, and there is a point to the story so read the whole thing.

A typical bad 일 can start off like any other day. 당신 wake up and 당신 go through your regular morning routine. But something is different. For example, 당신 spilled toothpaste all over your brand new 셔츠 that 당신 were really proud of. 또는 당신 cut yourself shaving. Nothing major, just a small accident. So 당신 change your 셔츠 and bandage...

Picks are a way to state your opinion, 또는 just find out what other people think. 당신 might post a pick to find a new icon, 또는 other's 가장 좋아하는 foods. I like the way 당신 can sometimes add a choice, which makes your opinion different.
Picks may also work as a school project: Example:Question: do 당신 have a brother/sister? Project: take a survey and see how many people have a brother 또는 sister.
Picks are a way to state an opinion without starting an argument, 또는 sometimes they are not to state an opinion.
Adding 이미지 to picks is fun, too. some 이미지 are goofy, others can really fit in. It is creative to add images, and some times important, such as if 당신 ask, "who's cuter?" you'll need to put 이미지 on the pick.
I like picks becuase they really are a way to state your opinion. They are a reminder that everyone has an opinion.
And that is why I 사랑 picks.

Nobody likes it when others ruin their fun 의해 telling them the end of the story. Some people just aren't as caught up with others because they're busy 또는 haven't gotten around to it. Whether it's your 가장 좋아하는 TV show and you're a few episodes behind 또는 a book that 당신 haven't read yet, the last thing 당신 want is for someone to tell 당신 what happens. Spoilers can ruin the fun for everyone else and the last thing we want to do is take the fun out of your 가장 좋아하는 stuff.

A lot of users were unhappy when 팬 were making picks that were spoilers during the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly...

Alright, so this is sort of in conjunction with a lot of other soapbox articles, namely Temptasia's two 기사 on link and link. It is also a sister 기사 to thecon's link. Additionally, it's minutely related (like a very distant cousin) to megloveskyle's 기사 on link. But I really wanted to stress the importance of constructive criticism here. So at the risk of sounding (exceptionally) redundant, I wish to discuss the importance of expressing yourself, taking responsibility for your actions, and not rating and running. Forgive me if this is all too familiar (thecon's 기사 summed...

Part one can he found link
Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. 코멘트 that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, 또는 are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate 또는 nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a 코멘트 like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? 또는 do they not...

I have had technology since I was three. Playing link and link on my SNES against/with my family (parents included!) were part of my childhood. I came onto the internet when I was around eleven, still fueled 의해 a need for technology, rarely seen without my Gameboy and link in it. I had to, as most people, find a place on the internet to settle into. I tried many places, first setting myself up a site at link, probably back when Dave and papa were still there and hadn't even started to think of 팬팝 yet.

As I grew older and 더 많이 knowledgable about the internet and life in general, I went searching...
