Are you guys really going to join the dark side if it was real? Are you really that horrible that you would want to murder and torture innocent people? Are you really foolish enough to join a person who doesn't care about your life? A person who'd leave you dying like he left Snape dying just for his own purposes? Would you want the world to belong to a person like Lord Voldemort, or do you want peace? Mass killings or happiness?
We're not going to have happiness until Lord Voldemort is defeated. And until then, I'll fight.
Together forever, we'll fight 'till we see the Dark Lord's end...

You would be willing - and happy - to kill people who have never in their lives hurt you in any way? You would be willing to kill innocent people, hurt them beyond repair, like what Bellatrix did to the Longbottoms? You would be happy to go after a baby and try to kill him/her, a one year old baby, just for your own purposes?

I don't think you're crazy if you're willing to die for someone you love. That's an admirable quality and you hardly see it in people. I myself would be willing to die for people I love. But think of it this way - think of how you would feel if you were family or friends of the person you killed. I highly doubt you'd like the person who killed Bellatrix, so how do you think friends and family of your victims would feel about you? Does it mean you like it then, the feeling of causing unimaginable pain to others? If you like it, then I doubt you've ever felt it yourself. Are you lucky enough to not have someone close to you killed? Has that ever happened to you? No matter the age, it changes how you think.
I know this is a fictional world, and none of it is real, but this question asks what you'd do if it was real. And you'd join Voldemort. I'd join the Order. You go your way, and I'll go my way.

I'd shout every swear word I knew, probably hide behind a tree, kill any bad guy that walks in front of my tree, and then probably be killed for doing so :P lol

As you said yourself this is a fictional world and i said what i will do if it was real not regarding anything of the world we live now!!!If i was there the only thing that would matter for me was how to do everything in my power to help the DE's,how to do everything to not let anyone harm bellatrix!!!I might be a human and have feelings too,but really the ansewrs to your all above questions can't be no,sorry but really i would not have any problems to kill,torture and harm people!!!These are a death eater's ways!!!And i'm ok with them!!!

True, I am not going to buy a gun and start shooting people around me. Were I thrown to Middle Earth I would probably fight against Sauron, but here in HP universe I support the dark side. And yes, I would tell the Dark Lord everything I know from the books if it was to help his cause. I suppose I would have him make an unbreakable vow not to harm once he knows everything and I'm useless, but it's beside the point. :) The point is, although me might be good in real world, if the magical world happened to be true and we were witches/wizards, we would join the DE.
